  1. That wave is still floating around the DGs here too and I saw some of them at ValueCity yesterday so DG must have a warehouse full of them.
  2. I would have to see what Dinsmore could do in a serious role. Helms has been mentioned and he would make good fit as well I think. He is one that was able to come out of a comic releif character and do something serious.
  3. I think Orton would make a good heel Horseman leader in place of Flair. He needs to stay in the World title hunt Benoit is a natural at the enforcer position as Arn Anderson was. He is also the history of the group and is there to keep Orton focused on what The Horsemen are all about. He needs the IC belt or the U.S. title. Pull in Cade and Murdoch to keep the tag team titles in the group and do the dirty work. Flair would be perfect in the advisor spot much like J.J. Dillon, but the group could succeed without him. If it was a heel group he would most likely not be around since the new group would make their biggest mark by taking Flair out while he was a face.
  4. I disagree, the LAX gimmick is tired already. The way they were brought in and put over better teams was ridiculous and they even had them be the reason for two of the best tag teams to split. Homicide and Hernandez are talented individuals but Konnan is a has been and his gangsta persona is played out. Time for him to go back to dressing like a wrestler and shut the hell up with his Spanglish urban lingo. I'm the type of fan who loves when heels have their time on TV but everytime Konnan appers with a mike in hand I find something else to do. I think TNA needs to push Homicide as a singles star in the X division and make Hernandez a contender for the World title. Be done with Konnan and the rest of LAX will make a better impact.
  5. I thought it was banned except for Undertaker and Kane being allowed to use their tombstone versions.
  6. Why does everybody hate on Orton so much? Yeah he is a dickhead backstage but he is one of the best heels in recent history. And part of that is because he is a dickhead in real life. His matches are always solid and his in ring persona is made to hate. Hell, his out of the ring actions add credibility to his in ring character IMO.
  7. Smackdown would be the perfect place to showcase Flair one more time, especially since the writer's don't seem to know how to use Flair since the end of Evolution. They could even reunite him with Benoit to build a new Horsemen and setup his retirement.
  8. Probably because guys were playing GM mode on Smackdown vs. Raw and doing a better job than Vince.
  9. The head look great on that body, I might have to try that myself.
  10. Oh I think every show would be better without VM showing up but the champ should make an appearance. But I think the belt should be involved in the New Breed/Originals/CM Punk storyline which should be the main story on ECW.
  11. And no sign of the ECW champ or its headliner for ONS.
  12. If you've noticed my signature for the past several month then you know I've been working on a site for my customs. Well I guess this is the official public unveiling of My G.I. Joe World. I thought I would have more on there but I know that if I wait until I have everything loaded then I'll never get to do the grand opening. The counter on the front page is around 900 or so and I fgure about half of that is from me visiting to make sure all my links and stuff are working. So check it out and enjoy. Remember its My Joe World so soem things do not fit into any other continuity. And a final note about the thumbnails. Not all of them are working yet since I haven't finished setting up all of the pages for every figure. Oh yeah, you can hit up the feedback page to sign my guestbook and let me know how I'm doing.
  13. I sand the hell out of the arms joints on all of my stuff. I start with an exacto and cut the excess plastic off of the swivel down even with the plastic on the arm. This will flatten the swivel a bit and keep it from rubbing when you move the shoulder around. Then I work on making the surface smooth so the cut marks I made disappear. I start with 180 grit sand paper, then 320 grit, and finally 500 grit. The 500 grit will get the surface down to a factory finish. When done you should be able to see a small gap between the swivel and the arm. Make sure you can see a gap on both sides of the arm and you should have ended your paint chippig problems. I also disassemble the elbow joint and trim back teh lower arm and the elbow joint in the same way.
  14. I thought McMahon was all for brand seperation. How does he show that? By putting the Raw brand champ in a promo in the first hour and focusing Raw on himself, the ECW champ, and spotlighting ECW's main eventer in four matches. Come on and just do what you know you need to do and stop with the brand seperation.
  15. Maybe its all a work so he can have some time off to go get hair plugs. It is bad news for WWE though. They may actually have to find some talent to put on TV now.
  16. I thought rims with spinners in them were stupid, especially when they started appearing on every wannabe thug's vehicle. I thought jewlery with spinners was even more ridiculous. Next came belt buckles and the stupidity was raised yet again. Then with the WWE title it was just stupid and insulting. The belt should not be customized for any wrestler. I didn't like Warrior adding colors, I didn't like Austins belt either. The belt should be consistent or if it gets rediesigned it should be designed to fit any campion. I think honestly that is why Cena has kept the belt is because anyone else would look ridiculous holding that. To me changing the belt into that would be the same the winners of teh Stanley cup deciding that they didn't like the design of it and took it and added jewels and flash to it to make it look like a giant pimp cup. My favorite belt though was the WCW world title. It was so large and detailed that you knew whoever was wearing it was THE world champion. The WWF world title was never much larger than any of the other belts and just wasn't that impressive.
  17. Hey Joe I just sent you a pm but I'm not sure if the pm system is working. I thought I responded to your pm about choosing a prize when you first sent me a pm but I haven't received my prize or a reply so I just sent you another pm.
  18. There is always the joecustoms wiki And Joedios has some logos and other stuff for use. Holesnipe's repository is a reference I just found. I haven't looked through it though so I'm not sure what kind of goodies are there.
  19. I thought that was one of the best promos and I don't speak a word of Spanish. The intensity he put into it really came through when speaking in spanish. I don't think it would have went over as well in english but I hope he doesn't make a habit out of speaking to the fans in a language that they can't understand.
  20. I would say its a little reference to the screw up in 97 when the original PDD was to be released. http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/97/destro5.shtml kinda neat reference if you ask me.
  21. Cobra De Aco roughly translats to mean Steel Cobra.
  22. That is a Kroenen head. Its a cast I got from board member JFAK, here is one of his sites: http://www.keenanscustomsandmore.net/weapo...destruction.htm The Kroenen head is listed as Head #36. You might recognize JFAK as the guy who recently posted all of the 3 3/4 wrestlers using shrunken head casts. Here is his other site for ordering casts: http://www.freewebs.com/keenansshrunkentreasures/index.htm Thanks for the compliments!
  23. I used an lbc for a "me" figure. It was Buzzer's head and torso, Rock N Roll V2 arms, and Backblast's legs and waist. Later on "I" changed my look to Chuckles head, Outback torso and arms that "SURVIVAL" had worn off so it was plain white t-shirt, and Cross Country legs and waist. That was my wrestling attire when all of my joes became wrestlers so I didn't have as much setup time when playing with them.
