  1. I wasn't too impressed until I came across the "victim Jack" looks. They really make the figure. David... eh. Nightmare head is interesting.
  2. Probably could have gone the minimally tensile clear plastic route, though, à la Marvel Legends Yondu & Hawkeye. Certainly would have looked better than absolutely nothing.
  3. Interesting. I don't tend to collect anime stuff outside of DBZ, a few select statues and a handful of Bebop figures (anime is kind of forbidden from my collection), but I do like this. Anyone have an opinion on the quality of Hiya? Do they have a lot of breakage issues or anything? I don't have a single thing of theirs in my collection. Yet.
  4. Over the last few months I've grown somewhat obsessed with completing the murals. Complicating this, is the fact that I moved a while ago and a mammoth amount of my collection remains in boxes. The result is I find myself going "do I own this?" a lot, especially with SW stuff, since there's so much repetition. I am 99% sure I have that Sabine Wren. 90% sure I have that Ahsoka, and pretty much 50/50 on that Hera. No idea where any of them are. Reordered them all just to be on the safe side. Hopefully I'll do some unboxing and stumble upon these figs, and will be able to cancel. I mean, I KNOW I have that Sabine. I think.
  5. Let me know if you do, I really want that Blackfire variant.
  6. Losing him was such a blow to the industry, I can't imagine what it would have been to have actually known him and lost him. Sorry for that. The man's art was pristine. Loved his "Basic Training" segments in Wizard. The first time I met Peter David he was doing a signing at a local shop, and this was like a couple of days after Wieringo's passing. He was signing as many comics as people wanted, his only request was that people unpolybag them themselves, and as I was handing him issue after issue of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man with Mike's art on the cover, my brain was just fixated on how awkward it all was. I passed along my condolences and got out of there, despite the signing being under-attended and could have chatted with him about comics until the cows came home.
  7. I don't know why that robot comes with a Game Boy, but I love the fact that that robot comes with a Game Boy. Frankly, they both look good, but my list of things to buy is long, so... maybe someday.
  8. Looks like they're doing a really great job on some of these sculpts. Still going to have to pick up those Sectaurs at some point, the price just keeps holding me back.
  9. Did exactly the same. The Superman just doesn't impress me, they botched the headsculpt, in my view. I'm sure there'll be a "Public Enemies" 2-pack or something at some point, maybe with a better head. If not, eh, no big deal for me. How many Supermen do I really need at this point? Give me the other guys. And hey, glad to see the Atom come with a "mini". Shoot, I was thinking Mcfarlane would cheap out to the point where I half suspected he wouldn't even come with extra hands, LOL. Definitely too big, though. Wonder how he stacks up with that Atomica that came with the hideous "Ted Cruz" Superman/Ultraman 2-pack that I couldn't be bothered to buy. And an individual arrow for GA! Can't complain about that. Although what would have been hilarious is if they'd stuck in a mini Atom on top of it, just as a little poke at Marvel.
  10. LOL, that struggle is real. I'll tell ya, the hardest accessories I've ever had to keep track of are the teeny tiny diamond and poison antidote that came with the club Obi-Wan Indiana Jones. He toppled once onto a carpeted area and I am beyond shocked I ever found that diamond again. I can no longer display him with it.
  11. I was thinking that was a possibility initially, but there's fine print on that pic saying it's not included.
  12. Probably should have figured they'd do an individual release after that 2-pack. Also, so he doesn't come with the coke bottle? Strange to put it in the promo shot like that.
  13. The accessories look great and it's a very dynamic figure. That said after seeing Displaying Model Behavior's Venom review/experience, I'm probably going to wait to see people review things before I pick up anything from them. It is very, very cool looking, though.
