Now that is see the two next to each other I like the first release better. There is something about that short vest that looks goofy. I do really like the updated head sculpt and weapons.

Does anyone have any indication of when these will ship to the general public? A lot of folks have had them pre-ordered for a while. I believe they were supposed to be out in March in the US?

… on a positive note I hope these figs usher in a mustache movement. They look outstanding. I’m getting a strong Magnum P.I. vibe from these Joe’s.

I’ll share my son’s reaction which mirrored mine… mostly disappointed because these are so far out from being available. The Joe team needs to balance design output with manufacturing and distribution. Seems like the team in RI can crank out one off production representative prototypes way faster than they can be made in mass. I don’t think this is sustainable. OBTW… has anyone seen Croc Master? Storm Shadow…. Spirit…

I am on the side of frustration. I develop and launch new products for a living. No recent lockdown in China affects a product release that should have happened almost 2 months ago. ThEse Joes should have been on a boat after Christmas. McFarlane, Jawares, and Mattel figures are showing up on the shelves 10:1 compared to hasbro. They seemed to have cracked the code on how sell toys. I personally suspect Hasbro is holding up full release until all global regions are ready or there is some major QA hold-up. Just a suggestion Hasbro, but I would cater your release to where the majority of demand is and be transparent on QA. You are loosing folks fast. I personally, like last stream, am not pre-ordering anything 9m + out.

This figure is beyond awesome. I would agree and say the GI Joe team at Hasbro is delivering less for more $$ ( like the black series) but nothing is even being delivered! I did not bite on the recent pre-orders that were a year out. How are other toy brands getting product to shelves but GI Joe is not? GI Joe is the reason I am an adult collector but ironically they are at best bearly present if not fully absent from the market right now. Yo Joe… Where is your product??!?

The GI Joes announced last year have not shipped yet. Seriously, Target / Hasbro…what is the point?
Mcfarlane stuff is really cool, and it actually ships. I wish he had the GI Joe license.
