  1. Not too bad. The head definitely looks better than on the one that I made. I am gonna be taking some cues from this one, though.
  2. I finally started setting up my Jedi Council, and had to do some mix-&-match with some, and even put in some that didn't come with the sets. Here's who I have on mine: Mace Yoda (one that came with the Chian padawan) Oppo Rancissus Eeth Koth (with an Obi Wan cloak) Coleman Trebor (in place of Yareal Poof, with an Obi Wan cloak) Stass Allie (from BARC speeder, also with an Obi Wan cloak) Even Piell (on a Yoda/Yaddle chair) Plo Koon (on an extra Oppo Rancissus chair) Saesee Tiin Yaddle (in place for now) Ki-Adi Mundi Shaak-Ti (in place of Depa Billiba instead of Yaddle) Also, except for the Yoda/Yaddle one, anyone notice that the Council chairs are a little on the dinky size? When looking at the DVD's, you'll probably notice that the ones in the sets are more beanbag that Barcalounger sized.
  3. Crap! I can't get it to open up for some reason. @grumpy@
  4. Wow, I didn't know that about the history of Olmec and their links to Chinese abuses!
  5. Not sure how to take that, Viper Hunter, but I like it. @loll@

    Bat Customs

I put these together for a BAT-centric fanfic dio I've yet to complete(I'm about a year or so into it now. Yikes!) Anywho, here's a couple of somewhat... let's say 'offbeat' BAT creations: For the record, I do NOT do drugs! In case you're wondering.
  7. eagle101st's request reminded me that I had wanted to do this for a while. So, I finally dugged him out and grabbed a BD SA clone. A quick dremel later, and he's done!: I even used the leftovers to make a battle-weary background clonetrooper (with a leftover speeder clone head I had lying around): I seem to be on some kind of 'Iron Chef' customizing kick lately!
  8. You got a #41 you wanna give me to try? LOL I have never seen a SA from ROTS on the pegs, #41 OR the Target one.
  9. I was wondering what was going on with this. T&ST only sent me half of what I bought from them and NOW I have my answer?! This was months ago! @cussing@ Now if only these assfaces will refund that half of my money, since it doesn't look like they're going to fulfill their transaction. @grumpy@
  10. Screw it, I'm quitting for the time being. It's done for now: Turns out the pegs for the QD lower legs were thicker and shaped different than the ones for the AT-TE and I didn't feel like dealing with them, so I stuck the AT-TE legs back in and glued it up. I tried a bunch of different poses and couldn't find that didn't look goofy, so here's a goofy one for goofiness sake: Judo Kick!: Opinions? Judgements?
  11. I don't know about perfect, though. Still don't have an articulated waist.
  12. Nope, not the AT-TE, this the quickdraw clone's torso and arms, with the mechanisms removed and the hip area hollowed out for the AT-TE leg setup Here's the parts list: -------------------------- head/helmet/neckpeg = AT-TE torso = QD arms = QD thighs/hip core = AT-TE lower legs/knee articulation = QD Here you can see what 'fun' I had trying to get that chunk out of the AT-TE crotch away from body (again, the body is one big lump of molded plastic). Afterwards, I had to 'widdle' it down to fit into the QD body while retaining enough 'meat' to keep the hips in. There's a little too much 'play' in it inside the QD body now for my tastes, but it will probably be glued in place when I finish it up. Here's how the AT-TE parts break down: Here it is with no glare: The two major hangups I can forsee are that the neckpeg will not have a lot to hold on to I glue it in place (that connector plug you see between the arms keeps the right arm from being loose inside the body, due to the action feature), and that I really hate how stubby the AT-TE thighs are and would like to somehow attach the QD legs to the hip setup. In retrospect, it would've probably been easier just to attach the QD arms to the AT-TE instead. But, I like the shiny look of the QD, so that's what I'm going for.
  13. I tend to like having the most poseable version of a figure possible, so I put this together the 2 MCF figs.: I used the regular carded figure and added the legs, hips, gauntlets and sword from the deluxe version (with the horse). Getting the lower body into the regular version torso piece was no small feat, but it keeps all its poseability. Had to create a 'peg' on the left arm for the deluxe version's gauntlet (the flash caught on this pic so sorry for all the glare): The one regret is that I couldn't find an easy way to use the harder shoes from the regular version somehow (the deluxe version's legs are sheathed totally in rubber). Rubbery spurs kind of take away from my final product, I think. But, still proud to have it.
  14. I know, the 'pose' isn't exactly complimentary, but I wanted you to know what I was trying to do, so @nana@ j/k A sidenote: I didn't realize this until I started taking it apart: the AT-TE gunners body is one molded piece! It was a real pain getting the section of the abdomen out that keeps the legs attached.
  15. It was still really entertaining. Which is all I really cared about. Different strokes for different folks, I guess, but I still like it.
  16. I think you can see where I'm going with this: Only an hour or so into it right now, so I'll keep you all posted.
  17. Oops! I figure I must've gotten it from somewhere.
  18. Take a closer look. That's just a Ep-I Adi Gallia (straight legs/rubber tunic). He REALLY kept this thing cheap and cheesey. And you're right, wolvie, this thing IS a sitting pile.. pile of what, I will refrain from saying.
  19. I don't know if this has ever been posted here before, but you should definitely check out this fanfilm called 'Duality'. http://www.crewoftwo.com/movie/index.html This one is awesome in my opinion. This has to be among the better made fanfilms where SW is concerned. Not a waste time, you won't be dissappointed!
  20. What's it about, and where can you see it?
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5979934362&rd=1 If he bought it this way, he's an idiot. If he did the switch himself, then he's just a crook.
  22. That's how the soft goods came looking! But I guess it is screaming for me to take it in somewhat. (I did say in the first post I might have to trim the underpart of the tunic so it didn't look like a dress, you know) And I'm following Lucas' lead as far as the sabre's color. Gonna hafta be blue or green (or maybe I can go purple, since they do still exist in Lucas' canon) Though I think they gave Adi a blue one, so I might have to research anyway.
  23. It's the one she comes with, but I made the overtunic (the 2 hanging 'scarf' pieces) with the skirt from the Stass Allie council figure to try and make a little more accurate.
  24. That IS kinda $#!++y! @grumpy@
