  1. Actually, It's taken quite a few steps backward. I tried replacing the metal rivets with JVC/VvV plastic ones, since nobody seemed to like the Viper arms. I suceeded, but it pretty much wrecked the paint on the gloves. Also, the head was giving me trouble, as the paint was starting to get sticky! So for now it's packed away with about a dozen or so another unfinished customs, where I'll try to finish them up after I get resettled at my next station.
  2. Wow! Those 2 must be impossible to find, then! I actually got mine (minus Viking and Punk, obviously) in a lot with some Voltron, AD&D, and I think some BSG figures for about $17 and changed shipped, so I guess I at least lucked out on the ones I've got! Still hope to get them someday.
  3. Here's a couple of pictures who anyone who doesn't remember them (which is probably most people ): Wrecker vehicle, with Viking figure Masher vehicle, with Punk figure (who actually came with another vehicle) The line featured rehashed Tonka vehicle molds repainted in a "Mad Max" colorscheme/storyline and each vehicle included a figure, some of which were also released on blister cards later. BTW, I'm looking for these 2 figures pictured. Anyone have these particular figures and willing to sell/trade, by chance?

    Good Deals?

Damn!, I believe how many deals I missed out on here! @cry@
  5. Uh, Yes, he IS. He's been doing standup for at least 14 YEARS that I know of. His old 'Spelling Class' skit is one of my favorites. Sorry to everyone for getting off-topic. Cliff Clavins rules! Prove it @smilepunch@ We're talking about Brian Regan not John "Cliff Clavin" Ratzenberger. We got off topic because of a line I said. Just to clear that up Yes, Brian Regan is the standup comic. I wasn't talking about "Cliff", Wheeljack. Scrumptious! Delectable! @loll@
  6. I actually did an LBC a while back using the same body that Babel did, using a BTR Duke head with a Scalpel visor on a NF Duke 'hood'. Didn't stay on well, but it looked decent enough. If Hasbro DOES make it, I'd expect something on the cheap like that from them. @hmmm@
  7. Same thing I was thinking. LOL Actually, I don't type in "G.I. Joe" fully like that. I'll usually type something like "Joe Cobra" or "VvV". Or the character name if I'm looking for a particular one.
  8. Did anyone else notice the "Andy Kaufman" tracking error in 'Exodus', where the picture adjusts a frame roll on Tygra and Cheetara when Jaga shows Lion-O the destruction of Thundera? I'm starting to think the editing procedures they used were pretty ghetto. With that and the music problem mentioned above, I'm pretty dissappointed with this set myself. @grumpy@
  9. There IS some good stuff in here, but really...Judge for yourself

  11. Nice Brian Regan paraphrasung there. Guess I'm not the only fan.
  12. Guess so. Went back today. Gunships are gone, ARC's and Musty-sets are still there.
  13. They have a couple each of these at the store down the street (only 1 ARC, though), but I'm not a big vehicle/playset guy. Are these difficult to come by?
  14. That's all the Evolutions Vader is, a repacked VOTC?(I don't any Evo-sets yet) Stoked about Sora Bulq and the clones, though(especially the RC). And Hem Dazon (FINALLY!)
  15. Agreed on all points. I do like the way he groups stuff together, though. I may take some queues from his setup when I finally get moved.
  16. Well, I didn't see a few things that I have , but still a damn impressive collection. I hope I have enough room to set my stuff up someday.
  17. Figures, I can't find mine, but here you go: This one looks about dead-on with your 'random dinosaur guy': Are these the guys you're talking about?
  18. Yep, noticed that one from Kevin a few days ago. Out of my price range, too, but still very nice.
  19. Dinosaucers or Gargoyles, maybe? Not really. Actually, your description sounds a bit like some of the Blackstar figures. The sparks thing makes me think that. The "devil" guy could be Overlord. I have one of him and I'll take a pic when I get home.
  20. Lynx-O Got him before I got a loose one with the shield, which was that "eyeball" one.
  21. Toys bumping uglies again @grumpy@ Why?
  22. Loose, with 1 carded, which I'll probably get rid of eventually.
  23. Did they even HAVE Ninjor's stuff in those packs? I thought it was only the '81-'83 stuff in the weapon packs.
