oh no I'm not upset its not focused on designer stuff, I was just seeing what kind of cross over there might be. I have a few friends in the designer toy scene that collect modern/vintage action figs, tmnt or MOTU stuff so I was just curious if it worked in the other direction. I actually can't stand KAWS though haha, a couple of his older vinyls are cool but the newer stuff is just so uninspired and boring. Ive been in the toy scene for 10+ years and am just starting to find a few bear bricks I want to pick up so I don't know if its them or me that's changing haha.

yea it would be astronomical. even at the same scale as the original line I have to imagine it would be a ton.

I love detolfs but I think for larger collections they fall short. Yea though I wouldn't go a custom case route unless I was never ever moving it.

I doubt designer toys are super popular around here but I thought I'd start a conversation. I make designer toys and am always looking for fellow misfits to connect with.

Good glass shelves and cases are so expensive they cost more than a lot of collections. See if you can design anything yourself and any parts of it you can DIY will help a ton. Most everyone I know that went the custom built route hired a handyman of some sort to do all the heavy lifting.
