  1. So did the rights problems with this IP get solved? Am I wrong or do they conspicuously avoid mentioning movies?
  2. The best Superman remains the Henry Cavill red and blue Target exclusive figure. And I'm not even a fan of the DC Universe films. Nothing else has come close to looking like a decent Superman.
  3. Cape and suit look great. Better than the Damian Robin I have standing in as my Tim Drake Robin. But that's a terrible facial expression to be the only head with a figure.
  4. I really wish they had included a pre-Mace duel head with that Darth Sidious so we could use him as a Clone Wars Sidious, but he's a must have for me either way. The rest of this I think I will pass. Someday I hope they do the Commando Droid or the Tactical Droid.
  5. The Dooku shorts are amazing, particularly the last one. The Ahsoka-themed ones just do more to undermine the character by continuing to make her the most awesomely powerful and perfect thing in the history of Star Wars.
  6. I believe they aren't allowed to do that. This came up when Classified started. They can't share parts across the non-internal IPs.
  7. I did not like Mattel's line and so was buying DC Direct figures instead (and not that many, just occasional purchases of characters I like plus the BTAS figures). I feel the same as you, though, about McFarlane. I get these in hand and they either can't stand at all, have weirdly bent legs, or just look totally out of proportion (particularly, again, the legs). I was very excited for Knightfall Catwoman, Supergirl, Batwoman (the worst figure I have so far -- she looks great, but she stands in only the weirdest, down-looking pose), and Who Is Wonder Woman. None of these figures are actually that great in hand. And all of them (except Batwoman, of course) look better in the box.
  8. I really hope these movie figures sell well. My great unrealized childhood dream is getting the Skeletor shock troopers from the film. And to see them on the box art for Evil-Lyn is such a tease.
  9. Good review. This figure was in my top three wants from Classified for a while (a real Cobra Commander and Jinx being ahead of it) and having it in hand, I like it. It's the Scarlett we should have gotten in 2020. However, it is a little underwhelming. There is an argument that the movie Scarlett has a better, more interesting head sculpt. I thought an ARAH/Sunbow Scarlett would be a top five Classified figure to me, but this one probably doesn't crack that list. Anyway, I'm glad to have it. It's a crime we still haven't gotten Cobra Commander. This line is over four years old at this point.
  10. The instragram post linked above: "We already had that reissue run planned, and the idea to create these boxes came up after we also found some limited quantities of warehouse stock. "
  11. They might prefer this option to eBay (maybe, again you can end up a loser if you have to buy tons of blind boxes to get a figure you want), but who in their right mind would prefer it to just a straight up sale of the figures in that anniversary production run? There is no doubt in my mind this was chosen to get rid of surplus figures that are overstocked at 4H (and BBTS and others). They admit they didn't intend to do blind boxes when they ordered the new run. It's just anti-customer and collector all around. But, hey, if you're lucky you might get a Delphina!
  12. What they said makes no sense. They did a special run of a lot of the characters (the ones featured in the smaller picture). Then they found some old warehouse stock. So to accommodate the limited warehouse stock, the special run is being sold blind box? It's just bizarre. But Mythic Legions has been weird for a few years now. I wanted Vorgus again but I've largely gotten off the train. I would have picked up some more Templars but I'm not buying blind boxes and getting figures that they couldn't sell just a few weeks ago.
  13. I don't see how getting random characters helps people getting into the line as much as, say, being able to buy the figures you want in a straight sale, without getting the random overstock figure.
