  1. Got my set a month or so ago. THey had just opened a box of them. Batgirl and Penguin are 1 per box. The rest were two or three deep.
  2. So what is the deal on the BK stuff? How much are the toys? Do you have to buy a kids meal to get them, or can you buy them seperate? Are they coming in waves, or did each BK get each fig, and they're just selling them all until they run out? And what's up with the ltd. ed. Vader 2-in-1. Thanks for the help! I'm not a big SW guy, but I thought these things looked cute.
  3. Does anyone have pics (or link) comparing the regular and variant? I've got a Scarecrow (grabbed the only one I've seen on the pegs so far) but am not sure what difference I'm looking for. Thanks!

    10" Hawkgirl

I picked HG up this weekend at a Target in Owensboro, KY. I was vacationing with family and thought I'd check it out just in case. On the shelves, in the new JLU boxes, they had 1 each of Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and I can't remember if it was Superman or MM, but yeah, they had them. The funny thing is that when I took her up to check out, they couldn't find it in the system. "Not on file". They asked me how much it was and I guessed $9.99 (I know, I should have low-balled it, but I try to be honest whenever possible) so that's what they sold it for. So yeah, she's out there. Happy hunting. I'm so glad I never paid eBay scalpers for her or WW. I never thought I'd find them, but I eventually got all of the figures in this set (and indeed, the entire JLU line) by being patient and checking out Target!
  5. I just can't believe that huge corporation Mattel is beating DCD to the punch on Booster Gold and Aztek. Shows just how much DCD has changed from the early days, since they've attained the Bats/Supes licenses. I can't believe I'm going to be able to walk into a Target and pick up a Booster Gold with SKEETS action figure!!! Makes me wish I was 12 again.
  6. I'll take any GL figs except for a new Sinestro. We've already got the first DCD version, the Superfriends version, and now the Ross version. That's more than plenty. I'd love to see more figures from the GLC days. Like they did with Tomar Re, just create a new head and stick it onto a vanilla GL body, and we're good to go! They could make dozens of them, and cheap.
  7. For a time I had all of them, but sold most of them off a couple of years ago, including the Hawkman/Hawkgirl pack, and Power Girl. A year or so ago I started buying them again, and now I really wish I'd held onto them all! Nowadays I've got about 60 of them: All of the Batman related (all of the Silver-Age Two packs, DKR, Hush1&2, First Appearances, etc) All of the LOSH related except Ferro Lad, Inv. Kid & Colossal Boy (just haven't gotten around to them yet, but definitely will) Several JLA related: Mr.Miracle/Barda, Blue Beetle, Black Canary, JLA 1 & 2, etc Most of the Wonder Woman figs, except the first one All of the Crime Syndicate And some misc: Death, John Constantine, Deadman, Star Sapphire, Sinestro, Supergirl, etc I currently have pre-ordered full sets of Hush 3, FA3, Green Lantern 1, Alex Ross 1, and Batman Rogues Gallery, and the E2 Robin and Supergirl from Crisis (don't care for the rest of the figures in that lineup).
  8. Stryker - You're right, the Fate is SUPER cool. It's just a really cool design and it's cool to see it in the Timm/Animated style in the form of a figure. It's definitely my favorite of the JLU figures so far. I hit three targets, three TRU, and two Wal-Marts yesterday, as well as a KB that was going out of business. Target is the only store that showed any sign whatsoever of having the new JLU stuff. TRU just had the same old JL stuff, with no empty spaces indicating that JLU had been there yet. I am dying to find that Elongated Man! I really think they've made a smart move with his line. Dropping the price to $4.99 for the single figures, and making the packaging smaller so that more figures can fit on the shelves seems like a smart move. And since I tend to throw the accessories away, I think the 3-for-$10 figures-only 3-packs are a GREAT deal!
  9. Which 3-packs did they have? So far I've picked up the Clear MM/Supes/Brainiac and Fate/Gr.Arrow/Flash 2-packs, but those are the only ones I've seen. I also found one single-pack Hawkgirl, but have yet to find Wonder Woman or Clear MM.
  10. For a while my Targets had them for $1.99, but when the JLU pieces came out at $2.99, they bumped the prices up on the Marvel ones. Strangely, for the line to be "Spider-Man & Friends", Spidey is one of the ones I see the least of. Multiple Wolverines everywhere though. Martian Manhunter hasn't been in any of the waves that my local stores have gotten so far, but I'll hopefully pick him up soon.
  11. My LCS had all of the first wave FA figs on sale for 50% off, except that they've been out of Batman for a while. I picked up Wonder Woman through DCBS back when she was first released, and had planned on passing on Cap.Marvel and Jay Garrick, but for $7.50 a pop I couldn't pass them up. And I'm glad I didn't, because at $7.50 the Cap figure is REALLY nice. I like the cloth cape.
  12. I'm not into Ross' style at all, so I'll be skipping these, which is a blessing, really, because DCD has been on a roll lately, and my wallet can use a break!
  13. Picked up Bane & ManBat at Meijer here in Louisville, KY last Friday (11/5). Manbat is pretty nice but I'm not liking the character design on Bane. So far the new Batstuff is really hit or miss with me. I really like the Batman, Manbat and Penguin designs, but don't care for Bane and out and out HATE the Joker.
  14. I also got mine two days ago, and have the same question about the cigar. I can't find a good way to display him with it. So for the time being I'm leaving the cigar in the box, so I don't lose it. Super Skrull is by far my favorite mini ever. I just can't believe that it EXISTS!
