  1. It actually was a different character named Paladin "Paladin was actually first intended by Mark Taylor for the never-produced Rob-N & the Space Hoods toyline. When that line failed to be green-lit, the character (eventually named Man-At-Arms) was reused for Masters of the Universe."
  2. You also get an additional 10% off when they're having sales like now. I've already knocked a chunk off my $9.99 membership fee and I know I'll have more than made it up when my year is up.
  3. Most of the other Mattel brands have had these collector clubs already: Barbie, Hot Wheels, Monster High, etc. The biggest thing I noticed was they had a larger discount for members during the last sale. I half contemplated buying a Hot Wheels (who I care nothing about) membership to get the bigger discount on WWE/MOTU stuff. If that continues, it could make the $10 worth it for that alone.
  4. Not me. I'd rather have Rio Blast. But Vultak is cool too.
  5. He was part of the unreleased series 2.
  6. Reaction+! Now this is exciting. I'd want Baron Karza's steed, since I actually owned it as a kid. I've been hoping additional properties would get Reaction+.
  7. I'd like to see them do Reaction+ with non-Joe properties.
  8. Dec. 13, 2009 @ WWE TLC. From wrestlingfiguredatabase.com. It's a re-release of Elite series 2 Batista.
  9. I know I don't buy them. I always thought of them as inferior figures from before my time. I imagine the 70s nostalgia guys are most of the market for Megos. At the same time, I feel like 80s and early 90s kids are more enthusiastic toy buyers. Reagan's deregulation of the toy ad/cartoon market was a sea change for kids. I could watch GI Joe, read comics, and play with the toys all at the same time. And the same goes for other 80s and early 90s properties. Then at some point, after my time, (late 90s? early 00s?) kids stopped loving action figures and toys the same way. Video game graphics got more immersive, MMOs rose, and the internet became mainstream.
  10. I remember old Johan Hex. German Confederate mercenary turned supernatural cowboy.
  11. $7,245. It's made of FRP, the stuff animal statues in parks, zoos, etc are typically made of. I wonder how many they plan to make.
  12. Didn't realize the mouth anatomy of a Facehugger before.
  13. Lego started doing something like this a couple years ago. It's really confusing looking at this concept for the first time thinking you have 30 days to order, only to find out you missed out.
  14. Exact same heads as the 1st release. Only differences are repainted guitar, repainted pants, and a shirt. Could have given us different heads and accessories.
