The original G1 Prime's colours closely match those of the Coke-logo
-
They're not affiliated with either of them. Kind of makes you wonder what their agenda is... They seem evil though, just not on the same path as Master Megatron-sama is.

Wow, those Ikea cases really are popular... I have two of them in my livingroom (filled with TFs ofcourse) and one of my friends has two of them aswell (filled with Palisades TF-statues and Spawn).

Ugh...the English dub is horrible though. "Hey guy?" "Yes Billy?" "I am Sixshot, the ninja commander for the Destron force!"

Is australia region 2 as well then? No, region 4, but i reckon the disc is dual region 2/4. Also, i'm glad "us euros" are lucky this once... we only get a third of the stuff that's available in the US

I haven't seen the DVD-set yet, but the series itself is very cool. True, they do sometimes butcher G1-characters and changed the personality of some of them a little (especially Arcee's), but the story is actually pretty good and it's G1 ofcourse

Need Info On This 1980's Non-tf Robo Series
heroicnonsense replied to abraxsis's topic in General Toy Talk
Is Convertors the series where Whirl and Roadbuster originated from? I'm asking because toys are listed on that website that are very similar to them: Whirl as a chopper Whirl in botmode Roadbuster as a 4WD Roadbuster in botmode Source: Source -
Amazing!

I'm a seller on eBay too (albeit not of TF-related goods) and often get complaints from American sellers about the whole "not in dollars"-thing. Thing is, if you see an item listed in GBP, Euro, CDN$ or other currencies, it means those items are *NOT* on eBay USA. Those listings are "grabbed" from one of the international versions of eBay. As soon as the seller specifies that s/he will ship to the Americas, the item automatically appears on the American/Canadian version of eBay. Nothing the seller can do about. The prices are listed in the local currency of the seller, but are converted once you click on the auction. Atleast, that's how eBay Netherlands works when you click on an auction from an American or other foreign seller (it converts the price to Euros). I don't think complaining about the "GBP thingies" does any good. If you don't want to buy from foreign sellers, just go to Advanced Search and set "Preferred Locations" to "US Only" instead of "on eBay.com". If you want to buy from foreign sellers but want to see the prices in dollars, just open the auction. Simple as that really. French buyers/bidders are sometimes complaining that the auction isn't in French or that they didn't understand the contents of the auction. This also has to do with the above: they are under the impression the item was listed on eBay France, while it in fact wasn't but eBay France grabbed the auction from the international servers.

Even in the cartoon's reality, the Transformers have "souls" ("personality modules" i think megatron called them). Starscream needed to steal five of them on Cybertron for the Combaticons, the Stunticons and Aerialbots got theirs from Vector Sigma. So the question remains.. where did the Technobots get theirs?

What I gathered it wasn't so much a buy-out, but more like a fusion to withstand Bandai's tour-de-force.

Ahhh, but see, you're American.

Great minds think alike

Bah. This should have been Ironhide. We already got a prime in the form of Masterpiece/20th Anniversary Prime, perfectly to scale with Alternators. Nice car though...

Whoops. Dual post

Duocons are cool! Did you know you can swap out parts? That way you can make BattleWheels and FlyTrap! @loll@

My collection is all loose, except for a G1 MOSC Seaspray and a MISB reissue Thundercracker I got by accident (I actually ordered a Skywarp but the postage for returning it was as high as the reissues price :S). I already had a Thundercracker so I left the double MISB You could say my collection is TOOSBUA = "Taken out of sealed box upon arrival"

I thought those were fake? No flame/insult intended btw...

My first TF as a kid was Warpath. My mum got it for me because I had to get a shot that day and my mom felt bad for me because she forgot to tell me. I can't remember getting my first "big" TF, but I did have some as a kid. I do remember getting to pick Jetfire as my birthday present once, but as the box was pretty big and my mom had to get some more stuff first we had to have it put away for a few hours. When we got back to the toystore, it turned out they sold him to someone else anyway . I did get Soundwave w. Buzzsaw that day though, which I still have I traded some of my Transformers with someone for MASK-toys once, including Whirl and Scattershot . I regret that to this day. I do still have those MASK-toys though I never forgot about TF and kept running into the phenomenon from time to time. I started collecting them again after I heard that Hasbro and Takara re-issued some of them. My first reissue was TRU Prime, followed a day or so afterwards by Takara's TFC #9 Starscream. I currently have about 90 Transformers, not counting the ones I still have somewhere at my parents' house from my childhood. All are G1 except for a RiD Fire Convoy, a RM G1 Starscream and a RM G1 Convoy. I have a MOSC Seaspray (not rare) and a MISB reissue Thundercracker (not rare either).

AFA is a scam.. Why would a 'graded' MISB G1 Ironhide be worth 3 times as much as a non-graded one? G1 Ironhide MISB is not rare as there are cases full of him floating around on eBay, just like G1 Backstreet and G1 Seaspray to name a few. Besides, AFA is overpriced which also drives up the price. Sellers want to make back the costs of AFA when selling the item (naturally and logical) plus they assume the item is worth more because of the grading anyway, hence higher prices. I consider most of the boardmembers on here higher authorities on MISB-values compared to AFA's people.

Boy 1: "Cool! It's one of those old videogames!" Boy 2: "Wow! how does it work?!" Marty McFly: "Let me show you..." *grabs a lightgun* Boys: "You mean you have to use your HANDS?!" Disclaimer 1: quote might not be accurate, i don't know the movie by heart Disclaimer 2: yes i know one of the boys is Elijah Wood before he became famous

Wheeljackslab... he doesn't trust anyone not from the US beforehand and is rude in his replies to e-mails.

It surprises me no one has spotted G1 Prime in episode #33 where Primus shows them the origins of the Grand Black Hole and the Planet Force. Prime is among the four "ancestors" standing around the "pattern of Atlantis". I's about 6 minutes and 40 seconds into the episode
