CC was frequently drawn that way in the cartoons though. As were the troopers. -

Hasbro Announces They Are Brining Back Starting Lineup Sports Figures
Invisa replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Where have you seen the list of figures announced? I though the announcement is tomorrow. -
I wish they would, but I doubt it. Orders have EXTREMELY slowed down now though since everything is unlocked. If they added another level I could see it really bumping up orders again. Even if they put it at 20,000 I could see it happening with the amount of time left.

On Walmart's website. The HISS is $41.97 and the AWE Striker is $39.99.

LOL. Seriously? A 1:18 scale HISS is $42. And that's the same model they've been using since the mid 80's. This is almost double the size, an all new model that has to be researched and developed, and comes with at least 2 figures that cost about $25 each.

I really like the purple, but would want the figure to be the same color purple that's shown on the weapons.

The basic vehicle with 1 figure is what you'd get if this was offered up in store. Look at the recent 3 3/4" offerings. The HISS tank and AWE Striker are perfect examples. Both came with a basic vehicle and 1 figure. I like both stretch goals so far as well as the early bird deal. The side mounted missile launchers look really nice, and the retro canopy and side armor are great for those who want a more classic look. And having an additional figure added is always good. I am hoping for an ASP to pull behind it, but that might be asking too much.

10,007. First stretch goal achieved in less than 24 hours!

The average cost of basic figures right now is about $25-26. So the cost of 6 basic figures would be $150-156. If it includes 3 figures that's another $75-78 which brings it up to $225-234. And if you look at more premium figures like Kamakura, those are around $34 each. So if the 3 figures that come with it have good accessories that comes to almost $260. So depending on how nice the HISS itself is, I don't think $300 is too bad.

Not at my local Targets. It doesn't look like any of these Super7 GI Joe figures have sold since they got them in. -
G.I. Joe ReAction Female Soldier Figures From Super7

So many different versions of $18 peg warmers! -
"Be there to understand" ? I grew up with 3 3/4" Joes from the beginning. Started collecting in '82. Collected the comics. Watched the cartoons every day after school. I "GET" the figures and think they are cool LOOKING, just not worth anywhere near $18. They are already peg warmers at my local Targets. Might pick some up when they get clearanced to like $5 each.

No interest in any of these 4 inch figures. Looks like something you'd find at a dollar store except they cost like $18.
-
Yes, cause you can tell that from a few pictures.
