The entire marketing push for tron around ares feels really weak quite frankly. This is The Walt Disney Company and (at least for a time) they could sell anything! Ik legacy was 15 yrs ago but they pushed that movie really hard back then. Like a few users pointed out there's hardly any toys based on Ares which is odd and disappointing. I think the whole tariffs thing made the toy production so expensive that hasbro is trying to cut their losses and only push what they know will sell or they're waiting to see the reception first. Aside from the contractually obligated marvel legends, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is only now releasing the kids toys. Several months After the film's release! I also find it odd they're picking the old films only.. perhaps they didn't think Ares was toyetic enough? Or the main character being named after the Greek god of war was too hard of a sell for children? (Even wonder woman chickened out on Ares merch for the most part). Also seeing Ares's failure in the box office and what seems like a failure for the haslab project. I think the fan base isnt big enough sadly as Disney waits too long between releases to maintain any momentum. Regardless. I hope these figures do get released and the plug isn't pulled before then. Sam and the light cycle look cool and I'm liking how rinzler/Tron is looking.

I genuinely never heard of this one before this post, I had to look him up and I know of a lot of superheroes!

As someone who grew up with the original trilogy (I was 11 when the original came out), These do look really good. And while i didn’t own any of the og toys as a kid, these do make me feel a little nostalgic seeing the vikings paired with their dragons. The Gronkle looks a lot cooler than the animation and the new design of the Titan Red Death looks incredibly intimidating! I’m not sure if there are many other people in my age group on this site but I feel like kids nowadays, and nostalgic fans like me are gonna appreciate these figures!

Is it me or is Frosta’s face slightly off compared to that initial promo image? My mom says her eyes are too close together or cross eyed.

I hope this means the movie is coming out soon! Some are speculating a December release but idk about that with all the stuff coming out. I did order the 2-Pack from this movie and I used to love Bat in Sun’s Super Power Beat Down web series so I am more than happy to support an independent and original IP! That said, I understand it’s a lower budget and that they want to go theatrical, (which could be a major contributor to the strange radio silence on the release date.) but they really need to get this film out and inadvertently, they could sell more toys and merch from the movie. I would like to see the other Dragon’s and characters from this film but I wanna see the film first!

They are really cool and unique. Reminds me of the comic and cartoon stuff neca does for the various lines! I personally don’t need them but I can’t deny the details on the paint/printing is awesome!

I mean the heads look fine? They look like the 90s super square jawed look they had back then. Idk Mcfarlane heads are hit or miss to me. They seem fine as variants. Im not gonna go for them due to budget and being holiday season but like I wouldn’t mind being gifted them or getting them on a sale.

They do look cool! The pixel art emblems and cell shading is cool! They work great as a stand-alone line! Looks like something Neca has done before! With that being said, I think a lot of people on here are more worried about continuity with pre-existing toys. These work well together but don’t go with anything else in the line. I will be passing on them but the figures themselves are creative and cool!

Its Rebirth Batman but in blue. The bat knee caps have been a thing since new 52. Look at greg capullo’s figures from dc collectibles or even the jim lee ones.

You're right, 80sboy. It should be an enjoyable escape. It's sad to see how upset the issues are making people. I agree with Mako the scalpers are the ones primarily responsible but it's too bad Hasbro hasn't done anything to try and compensate like Mattel is (trying to do?)/doing with MOTU Origins. Either they are unaware of scalpers or maybe they don't care because sales are still sales to them. Maybe they just don't know what to do about it right now. While I'm new to the community I've been following and participating in the collecting scene for some time and I believe most fans/collectors are nice/good, it makes me sad to hear about all the toxic "Fans" you guys have had to put up with. Toys should make people happy not upset. I don't collect classified or Joe in general but I can understand your guy's pain as I quit collecting Marvel Legends partially due to scalpers. I hope Hasbro at least tries to do something to help fans get ahold of the figures they want and I hope you guys still find joy in collecting at least some line of toys.
