Oh yeah. I see that now. That looks like garbage. Really takes away from the rest of the vehicle's looks.

I apologize if this is not the appropriate thread for this... Currently I am working with a colleague on a novel. Here is a short synopsis of it if you are needing some context: https://www.overlordsofthecosmos.com/what-is-ootc Anyway, as we have plugged along on this literary endeavor, it occurred to me that it would be extremely cool if I could have one of the protagonists of the novel (Fearsome Phantos) prototyped... just for fun. Well, that snowballed into the possibility of launching a full-fledged line of figures inspired by the Overlords of the Cosmos, a fictional propert

Roboto and Zodac look great. Very pleased with those two. She-Ra on the other hand looks awful. This line has yet to put out a decent female figure... but that doesn't bother me much as I don't typically care for the female characters aside from Evil-Lyn. EDIT: Also... I giggled when I read the bottom line on the back of the mini-comic: "Subject of availability" Haha! Pretty sure that was meant to say "Subject TO availability". Engrish.

I'd just like to get some actual images of a couple figures in that line, even if they are a little obscured by shadow or some other effect. Anything more than the silhouettes.

Yeah, I'm hoping the new animated series and the Masterverse line helps push the other offerings along.

Woah. Nicely done. I always preferred this color scheme over the actual figure. -
My choice would be Guile, but I always preferred Street Fighter 2 over Mortal Kombat. So... biased.

Ahhh. Gotcha. Some of the original names for MOTU figures that ended up changed prior to production were interesting too. Like "Hose Nose". LOL

Ha! I can think of so many names that could have been good MOTU characters/gimmicks. But I like that one... Might Knight. I don’t suppose you’d let me steal it to possibly name a figure down the road? I’m working on a novel/action figure line (very MOTU inspired) and that would probably make for a cool character.

Can't say I disagree with you there... especially regarding distribution. Locally we went from totally empty pegs (collector's gobbling them up before they could even get put out) to them falling off the pegs. Would have helped to smooth the curve with more initially and less later on.

I am all for reusing anything to create new offerings. I don't recall this particular version of Tri-Klops ever being created before (in the Classics line or after Super7 took over). I have the mini-comics versions of Trap Jaw and Beast Man from the Classics line though. So it'll be nice to have a mini-comics version of Tri-Klops available. I just found it funny that they could confirm him so quickly after the poll finished. They were definitely going to produce him either way.

There's no way they didn't already have Tri-Klops sculpted/tooled and the molds machined prior to them finishing that poll for which figure fans wanted between him and Keldor. And the image of Tri-Klops from the poll differs from this design (it had more of the mini-comic look to it). Unless the design shown was for some kind of variant or exclusive.
