I've seen quite a few collectors buying extra packs and offering them on twitter, instagram and facebook groups. Problem is, if they aren't in your exact area, you are hit by shipping costs again. Shipping independently is going to cost you $10-$20. That's about the same cost as finding a guy around your area on OfferUp locally for pick up. The bottomline is, extremely popular toys have always has this problem since the creation of action figures. I'm a turtle fan #1. Paying an average of $75 for 2pks could be waaaaay better when you see the prices years in the future. In fact, you'll probably

If you haven't been checking OfferUp I suggest it. I found a Slash 2pk in Target one time, that's it. Checking multiple Targets far away every other day. There are some generous people on OfferUp. If you check every day, multiple times a day, you can find people selling from $60-$75 for 2pks. That is the most I will pay on the aftermarket since it is the around the cost, or cheaper than, buying NECA direct. If you're willing to buy Neca direct costs, maybe offerup helps for you. I'm so worried if I wait to find these in the store I'll never get them. They'll stop stocking, never add to the Nec

New TMNT Turtle Movie Stars Boxset Revealed
JangDangus replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I'd like to see them do figures more like the MOTU ORIGINS. At least take the old and update. I've been finding these reproductions pretty boring. It's nice holding a tmnt figure with new types of plastic and paints. But that's it. The retros still look better.- 8 replies

Oh, for sure. I'm picturing Warcraft meets Battleship. This John Daley guy and his partner have directed Game Night, Horrible Bosses 2, and VACATION. Not only are they comedies...they are garbage.

Legendary's 'Toxic Avenger' Reboot To Star Peter Dinklage
JangDangus replied to Outsiders's topic in Entertainment News
All I care about is the figs. This movie will surely propel them into production. Legendary? OH BABY. My mind is bloooown. Super7 will almost undoubtedly get licensing for more cartoon toxic crusader "playmates style" figs now. Not only that, they have a great chance of getting movie stuff too. Based on their history with MOTU it is a great likelihood. I CAN"T WAIT! -
You know what is coming after the cartoon line? The Archie comics TMNT ADVENTURES!!!! I guarantee it. The IDW would be DOOOPE. But before that, those Archie characters are too lucrative to pass up. The art is AMAZING. Also, they would all be repaints of the cartoon line with new head sculpts. Body swaps. Etc. A few completely new sculpted figs peppered in. The deco will most likely look just like the cartoon so those collectors keep buying. BANK! The first 11 volumes are GOLD. Comixology unlimited. The rest of the volumes you have to pay on IDW.

I think they actually thought Rise of the BS could be a huge seller for the youngster kid market. Neca and Super7 were to be for the older audience. Which makes them totally separate markets. So why not make more money on top of everything and not do a lick of work? Problem was, Rise did terribly, as most all TMNT fans predicted. Leaving Playmates to sit around like...okay we're done with that, we can't do the same #$##, so we have no market to make TMNT stuff unless we compete with NECA and Super7. Which like SPIDERS said is a bad idea. They could try again to appeal to the younger m

Except for the fact that Playmates master license entitles them to major royalties. All profit, no work. Then again, I'm with you. I want playmates to do something more. I don't know how much of the vintage remakes I actually want..... I'm thinking TMNT 1988 "MOTU ORIGINS STYLE" action figures is better. More articulation and slight variations. Thats a huge market waiting to be tapped. They will wait till NECA and SUPER7 gets close to the end of their runs, then, BAM! Oh and I pre-ordered this, yes, go turtles XD
