That reminds me of DC figs that could hardly stand on their own {sigh}. This line has the Classics to compete with, though I'm not expecting this'll truly be at par with Classics (just seeing the shapes of the blurred images and what seemed to be a hunched Battle Cat), the final product has to be decent.

I wasn't able o get the hooded Red Hood, but it depends on the face sculpt whether I'm going to get this 2nd release. Hopefully it'll be available outside the States.

S.H. Figuarts Michael Keaton Batman Coming From Tamashii Nations
Blurr86 replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Michael Keaton is the Best-looking and the best in justifying Batman for me. though for this item, I'll have to wait and see some good reviews first. Hopefully it has an unmasked extra head sculpt that captures the image of MK.- 20 replies

Always found this classic villain in the DC universe as enigmatic and somewhat monstrous... though later I discovered he is actually a person in an armored suit--highly weaponized armored suit. The discovery just made him more monstrous to my eyes yet the persona earned my respect. Manta went to great lengths to avenge his father though Aquaman was not totally at fault. He and his father were murderous at the onset, and Manta just got worse after his father's death--making the suit a perfect reflection of the monstrosity of the person inside. MAFEX gave life to Manta in this action figure. Almost perfect! Best jetpack I've seen. Those tubes at the back were created with much thought; it has the aesthetic looks without hindering the figure's articulation. The issue with the joints are somewhat minor but at this price range MAFEX could have done better. But overall this is one of the best Manta I've seen made into a collectible.

DC Multiverse 7" Suerpman Eradicator Custom Figure By boytoys528
Blurr86 replied to JayC's topic in Custom Figures
Superb! PS #DCmultiverse #McFarlanetoys , when you see collectors starting to customize stuff like these, it's time to manufacture and release the said figures, albeit new ones, back in the market. -

I'm crossing my fingers and await Todd creating action figures based on Future State. Thinking of Mongul, the Quintessence, Tim Drake, Constantine, Etrigan, Mister Miracle and Big Barda. #McFarlaneToys

But he's ginormous... so much a plus especially if you're a 1/12-scale collector. Pre-ordered him (armored Darkseid) and the black-suit supes.

I'm buying the way Todd designed Bat's cape. Looks like cloth but isn't. Depends on how this turn out when it's out in the market on whether I'll get me one. Curious how Cyborg would look with the helmet. I've always wanted a Cyborg figure. Hope the exclusive figures aren't that difficult to access. So far I only pre-ordered armored Darkseid and general release Supes.

This feedback from a review regarding the joints of these new NECA figures and the well-known issue with NECA's paint--that they had a tendency to chip off easily-- are the ones holding me back from grabbing any NECA products. Too bad some characters they release in action figure forms are from the franchises I really like. So hope #NECA change this trend so I get buying.

MOTU Minis gave us a swift (oh so few) preview of Revelations characters, and possibly some clues (so slightly) on the storyline: Revelation Skele-God Revelation Fisto Revelation Beast Man Revelation Whiplash Revelation Full Metal Whiplash Me: Dibs on BEASTMAN and FULL METAL WHIPLASH lol Obviously, Skeletor will turn god-like in Revelations... I suppose he stole some, if not all, the power of GS?! From my research on YouTube, this is base on the writer and one of Mattel's main person on MOTU Classics design and development: the 200x storyline was suppose to lead towards Skeletor taking control of Castle Grayskull and defeating the Masters. Revelations may have followed the same storyline. Because, yeah, if you're as persistent as Skeletor, eventually, you'd get what you wanted, right?! All roads lead to Grayskull, at the final tally. P.S. According to BBTS the projected release of these Minis is June 2021. Kinda gives you a clue when Revelations will be aired and when Revelations 7" action figures will be released/announced when to be on sale... somehow (source: BBTS, see attachment)

Come on, the albino guy's still out and about?! I'm guessing since he was the top villain in the previous Seasons this is the time they'll give him a chance to redeem himself. I guess, that's how usually most actors playing the villain want to end up... and DC is not short on their numbers. Hell! Deathstroke once donned a white suit for that before DC leapt to another of their reboot (New 52). Lex Luthor was once a Justice Leaguer--who can top that?!

I know nothing about Monster Hunter, but yeah, if their figures are as great-looking as this, bring it on! I'm happy to see that the company didn't spare the articulation cuts. You know what figure you're getting and how much display value and photo value you'll get when you get 'em

TMNT Movie Super Shredder (Shadow Master) Coming From NECA?!?
Blurr86 replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Not a TMNT collector but I love the 80's show. I usually prioritize acquiring villains in a toyline--they make the story interesting, and, most of the time, they make the hero THE hero. I have considered purchasing Kragg but when they released it it has a some issues I just can't tolerate, but seeing this Shredder--it just kept improving. I'll watch a couple of reviews of the purple release then I'll decide if this grey brooding looking figure is for me.- 27 replies

If it's quality work, 7" and it's D&D and Magik's lovechild, then it has to be amazing! A 2021 Medieval downpour is highly welcome.

{Spoiler Alert} Only Clark is laid off, not Lois. There's a company who has been buying almost, if not, the whole town, who bought the Planet, the bank where Lana Lane is working at, which on the other hand, offered to buy out the farmlands in Smallville (where the Kents are living and where they've kept Clark's spaceship). Smallville has been withering slowly, its inhabitants leaving for the bigger and better pasture from without. It's like this company wants to keep the town and exploit its secrets/riches for itself alone.

The MOTU action figures for kids, they say, somehow look 200x-ish. Strangely, based on the pix shown so far, I'm kinda interested. It's my thing. I like MOTU looking fresh, new, and somewhat exaggerated hehe... I have one cardinal rule that has to be followed though. This figures have to be 1/12-scale for me to buy it.

I'm liking the new style of the power sword here. She-ra's power sword and She-ra herself, if they'd make 'em in action figure form are piquing my curiosity.

I'm not sure I'll like it. Depends, if the characters I want turn out good, then I'm gonna get 'em. I'm crossing my fingers and leaving the matter to the good hands of the Spirit of Grayskull.

There's a staff there that belongs to Hordak. Can't believe the Horde will be involved in Revelations. This is truly a must-see part of MOTU's story. Hmmmm... I just plead with the Serpentine Goddess that they don't drop the ball on the 7" action figures side of things. #mattel #wewantmoremastersoftheuniverse
