  1. With how well this came out and (probably) how well Cover Girl's release will be, there's no excuse for Hasbro to not go back and redo Lady Jaye's sculpt. She's horrid looking. And if Super7's Lady Jaye can get even as close as 50% to their digital design, then Hasbro should be ashamed. I'm not even asking for a redo of their Scarlette release (which also should be redone), because there's no comparison to how awful LJ looks.
  2. Dear Lord, Hasbro NEEDS to revisit Scarlett and Lady Jaye after seeing how good this figure looks. Cuz both of those figures are criminally lousy in their design and sculpt
  3. I don't know how many times people are gonna scream that Bluegrass' scarf is designed backwards... But I guess S7 don't care.
  4. My word do you forget just how awful these look until you see them in the news again, lol. Easy pass.
  5. There's a kind of triple-edge sword effect happening here. 1, these looks incredible. Thank God these are based on the original game's simpler designs and not the remake and those subtle differences. 2, these cost $120+ per 5-inch figure??! Cloud is already up for pre-order at that price, and I'm guessing these new two will follow suit. BUT, the price could be worth it if.... 3, the entire roster of characters better be completed and released. The high price can only bite this company in the ass if this ends up being an incomplete line. And therein lies the main problem. The prices are too high for 5-inch figures that aren't even guaranteed to be complete. So, either collectors wait to see and the line dies before everyone is released OR collectors take the chance and buy these now and the line doesn't finish with a Red XIII, Cid, Cait Sith, Yuffie, Vincent, and Sephiroth release.
  6. I've only got so much money, and I had to choose between this and TOMY's die-cast Enterprise model. I went with Star Trek.
  7. It makes zero sense why Brian didn't bring any Silverhawk stuff with him. In two interview videos prior to comic con, he showed off Monstar AND Quicksilver figures, and he couldn't bring either of them with him?
  8. Once these figures go completely windowless with their packaging, then I'm gonna drop the line. But until then, I just hope we get some re-do's of their uglier releases (Lady Jaye!) and some better character selections that aren't Cobra Trooper variants for a change.
  9. It's weird. There are promo pics of Tygra that have the correct paints that this final release doesn't have. This is missing the right elbow pad entirely, the left and (missing) right cuff around the forearm aren't painted dark blue, and his ab crunch section totally forgot to paint his costume correctly. The time and the cost people put into this line doesn't seem to be worth it, imo
  10. These reek of being nothing more than the exact same toys from the '90s. Easy pass on the figures, but boy am I desperate to buy starships again. Hopefully the lame packaging doesn't equate to the ship being lame as well.
  11. It should be emphasized that the Cobra Viper 3-pack is the first release that will be plastic free, which Hasbro announced they were going to be doing with all their figures two years ago. There was no clarification from the stream. But it sounds like all future Classified figures will be windowless, have random character art as the main image on the front, and will have photo's of the actual figures on the back of the packaging. Personally, as an MOC collector, I don't like this change. Especially when the art they create is hit or miss and that's the main image you have to look at, especially when you can't see the figure to know if it's mint or not, and ESPECIALLY when s***head collectors buy these figures, swap out parts, then return them to the stores, and you now have no idea what you're buying =/
  12. Is the head from the old WWF Hasbro figures of the 90's? Or something newer?
  13. Depending on how this Enterprise looks in hand, I might be on board. Cuz in all honesty, these figures look worse than the original Playmates ones, and I don't need to collect another line of Star Trek toys that aren't an improvement over the older ones (including Art Asylum) and aren't willing to go as broad into the roster as the older lines (live action tv shows, animated series, movies, novels, etc).
