  1. Id be very happy to receive any Platinum for retail. That Soectre is a $100 figure and possibly more. I collect every figure in the line. It’s around 450-500 figures and counting. I do wish he’d chill out on the Platinums but at least theyre all well done for the most part. I got that yellow Mr. Freeze from EE and turns out that’s first appearance Freeze as Mr. Zero. He should be green but its a black light figure so i maybe that has something to do with it. I wouldnt be surprised if he put out a Platinum of a variant and made it green.

Walmart exclusive... Godspeed to us all.  Even if we all get our pre-orders in, 75% chance Walmart cancels them anyway.  I feel like at some point they're going to find themselves in a class-action for eliciting pre-orders that they never actually honor.  If that day ever comes, I'm there front and center.

Their exclusives are easy to get. Moss Man is literally everywhere. It isnt 2021-22 anymore.

Locking Kilowog behind a 2pack with yet another Kyle Raynor is a real Poozer move, McFarlane.

The Rayner figure that has already been released (comic accurate color) goes for well over $110 now. I have most of the 400-500 figs in this line but I do not have this one and now i will and for much less. I think the green on boots and arms is still diff though.

  4. Let's place bets on how long it'll be before the Ghost-Maker hood up variant is announced. Any other company would have included both in the box. I think he's trying to do this with as many figures as he can get away with. I sure as hell hope not. It's alternate heads with DC and bloody variants with Spawn. That bloody variant of Violator at Gamestop is a pricey bastard.

It's kinda funny that they changed the name on the front of the package to reflect the Action Force name change done for the European markets back in the day but didn't make that change on the bio card on the back.

It clearly says Sgt. Slammer on the bio card. They must have put up an incorrect old image at first. It says Slaughter above the card, but that's because that's the Series 1 figure.

I don't get what the "deluxe" part of some of these Revelations and Origins figures is.  Most just seem to be an extra head and a normal amount of accessories spread out in a larger package.

That's why they're considered deluxe. The standard figures don't come with extra heads or accessories. You get the figure and a single something to hold (or fancy metal hands with something like Fisto/Jitsu) and that's it.  Not all deluxe releases are created equal. Some feature more than others with some even allowing multiple figures to be made like Revelations Trap Jaw and TriKlops and Origins Eternean Palace Guard.

  7. Jesus H. these and all the rest are awesome. McFarlane needs to pull his head out of his ass and step up to the plate and start making figures like these and all the others they've put up for preorder. They're very expensive, though. Before these new ones showed up today, the ones that have been put up at BBTS will cost you around $1,000. This is probably another $500 give or take on top of that.

  8. These are 1,000 times more appealing in the vintage style window boxes. I hate the cards for almost every release. Horrible graphic design work and just pure lameness. These boxes just work better for that style. It's still not great design, but it's a whole lot better than the cards. I hope they stick with this for all releases.  That Reptile figure has already been released carded and is at Target and I got mine off BBTS a few months ago, and this seems to be the same figure. I know they slip in variants from time to time like Hannibal Lector and Candyman.

  9. How is announcing a new wave to a separate line comedic? One has nothing to do with the other and they can't force the factory producing wave 2 to go faster, so let's lay off the TC wave 2 crap. It'll come out. Their new factory is producing things nicely, and we'll have new waves come out on an almost monthly basis provided no out of their control shipping and trucking delays interfere. There is a massive truck driver shortage bordering on dangerous levels, so things not getting trucked to where they're supposed to go are and have been a huge headache for everyone. And there's nothing they can do about that. I'm not sure why one thinks they don't have the right to announce new products. If you're going to do it to them then do it to everyone else like Mezco, Big Boss, and Medicom to name a few. The MAFEX line is dozens figures behind and One:12  is right behind it.

  10. I liked it at first but there were way too many changes made for no good damn reason to forgive it. Some of it was just perfectly like the anime, and the music was a combination of pieces taken from the anime and all new material composed by the anime's composer. The changes they made to Vicious and for God's sake whatever the hell they did to Julia are what sank it. They greatly expanded the character of Annie and race swapped, but that was one of the few changes that I kind of liked. She was in the anime for about a minute or two .They also made a Julia sized change to Gren, as well and it was just awful. Then there's the infamous appearance of Ed and I wanted to go out back and bury myself in a hole it was so cringy. That character can be done in live action, but they need to find the right actor and take it just far enough to be the same character but not so far that it turns into what it was in this show. She's somewhat annoying in the anime, but she's a beloved character and you miss her when she exits.

I had read this show did well for Netflix and that season 2 was going to adapt the Bebop movie storyline, so it surprises the hell out of me that it got canceled. I would have liked to see if they could work out the flaws and turn a season 2 into something worthy of the name  Cowboy Bebop.

If you haven't watched the anime, then go watch it. It's on Netflix and it's 26 episodes of greatness. It destroys this live action show, and the proper Faye Valentine is only shown in that version of the show. That charfacter in the live action show is Maye Foulintime and not Faye Valentine.

Do they sell these for the same price as the printed ones?!? because that would be so dumb imo. I find it incredibly interesting and kind of stupid to release these but I get the draw for them. Its a good way for customizers to go ham.

Yes, they are on the same pegs as the painted figs if Warhammer is what you use to compare. McFarlane has now started releasing Warhammer unpainted versions of figures he hasn't released as painted yet so I hope he keeps this practice at a minimum. Unpainted versions makes total sense with Warhammer but not with anything else unless he were to make an actually new line that had nothing but unpainted versions from all of his various lines.

I mean it's great for those that want it.  But yeah super7 has some serious issues.

Those issues are probably over now that they have a factory that doesn't force them to wait. They are now shipping waves of everything on a schedule (barring any shipping delays that slow everyone down). There will be 10 new Thundercats in collector's hands over the next 2-3 months on top of the other waves and we'll be getting a wave a quarter per line if everything continues to run smoothly with new preorders being worked on in the background.

The only thing that worries me is the health of Brian Flynn. That guy is obviously sick, and if appearances are what you go by then it's some kind of cancer. I've been watching his interviews on TheFwoosh over the past few months and watched him go from a healthy man to a skeleton that can barely talk and has issues remembering things and unintentionally leaking future figures which is something he never did. He's just not as quippy as he used to be, and if he were forced to step down or die I hope whatever makes Super7 the way it is doesn't go away with him. Plus I just like listening to him talk about the industry and how things work BTS.

The more successful this line is, the better the chances they can afford the tooling for something like a 24" tall dragon. For right now Blue Trogdor Aracagorr will have to suffice.

There are hundreds of figures in the line going on a decade now. with secondary prices in the hundreds of dollars for a very large number of them.  I think they succeeded. It sounds like it's time to  unleash the big dragon.
