Wesley and fezik would be the ones I'm interested in the most, so it's cool that they're coming out first. -

Sgt. Slaughter Joins Action Force With New 6" Action Figure
deecee4 replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Yeah that figure is too short to display alongside the other wwe elites (sarge is supposed to be 6'7") so had to upgrade to the hall of fame sarge for my wwe display. So it was pretty cool when classified line started and i saw that the basic sarge fits in perfectly scale-wise with them. So have him right next to snake eyes, I love it.- 43 replies

Joy Toy Announces Warhammer 40k 1/18 Scale Figures
deecee4 replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Defcon in Oklahoma? That's so random. I was at that show when he was there, came all the way from the east coast to see him(I was a huge fan at the time). Havent thought about that in ages lol. Staying on topic, these look really good. But I'm fine with the McF figures. -
Wow, Mon-Star is going to be huge! I'm definitely in for him and Quicksilver!
-
You know what, i was actually wondering when snake eyes and timber were going up for pre order so thanks hahaha.

Is it Thursday yet? Lol

If I'm not mistaken, on the fwoosh interview, July 15th was the date that Brian teased that they were going to unveil a "brain melting" property. So is this it?

Bounty Hunter would look amazing in the s7 ultimates style!

Super 7 just posted a teaser pic

I'd absolutely love a Melodia. Its criminal that she wasnt made in the Kenner line. Poker Face too...both very toyetic characters that shouldve gotten made. I'm not a vehicle or playset guy so things like snake mountain and the thundertank werent really tempting for me..but if S7 were to make Mon-Star's Sky Runner I would have to get it, without question.
-
Yeah, these are really $35 figures. $55 is really a lot for what you're getting. The way Brian was talking during the recent interview sounds like Mon-Star will be about $80. Buzz-Saw might even be a little more than $55 too but we'll see.
-
Quicksilver and mon-star are definite buys for me. Buzz-saw would be a big maybe.

Im curious what they're going to do for card art since Hasbro's retro Joe's already have that nostalgic painted art. So are they going to just do more of that or something completely different....maybe do card art that are callbacks to the comic books instead?

Holy 6" Retro 66 Batman Figures From McFarlane Toys
deecee4 replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Yeah, not bad! The sculpts are not as good as Neca's but better than Mattel and Mezco, imo. Dont like the capes but maybe possible to get wired capes through a 3rd party eventually. I really love the vehicle and playset however (from what I can see) and I'd even say that they outshine the figures to some extent and in that case, you'd probably be missing out if you only buy the figures, unlike most other 6 inch lines.- 129 replies

Technically, shouldn't Timber have come with the Snake Eyes we already got lol. Even though I'm more of a Cobra guy, I'm loving all these classic looks for the Joes.

So is GI Joe Ultimates inevitable?
