    This is the color I prefer but I'm still happy with the regular release version I have. If I were to get this tho, I'd probabaly swap out the straps with the ones on the regular release since the original 3 3/4" figure had some black straps on the attire.

    I wanted and never got the Night Raven. Did get the Strato Viper pilot in a trade tho.

    Doesn't matter who drew it on a cover first, these are all Capullo designs.

    Most likely because of Greg Capullo, since he's big into metal guitar. Don't know what's up with that huge blade sticking out just about right next to his picking arm tho lol

    Yeah, It's not overly dynamic (he's just standing there) but they were clearly going for an iconic and monolithic look so it works. Also, comic artists and graphic designers are two different things. And a comic artist absolutely does see things in the round. Here's a good example of Jim Lee explaining his thought process as he draws.

    I don't see it as racist either. The hooded villian look was kind of a trope from the '30s and '40s adventure serials.

    I didnt get the Burbank connection at first either.

    The ones that came with the Kingdom Hearts figures are completely different figures. They're based on the CG models that appeared in the video game and are smaller, have less articulation and don't feature actor likeness. The other figures are based on how they apepared in the movie. I have some nitpicks like the joystick not being translucent but for the most part I think the set is okay........however, I think lack of music is a glaring omission for the price they're asking. Anyone who spent anytime around the arcade cabinet knows that bit of the soundtrack that would play over and over lol.

    I wish the colors on Lion-O was a little more vibrant like the Mattel version and in S7's solicitation pics. And also wish they elongated his proportions a tiny bit since he's somewhat stubby looking IMO (Mattel version too). But other than those nitpicks I love these with Panthro being my favorite. And also the alternate head sculpts are really good, they add quite a lot of character to the figures IMO. I'm in for the rest of the core team.

    Wasn't interested when these were first announced (even tho I enjoyed season 1) but after season 2, I think I will be picking these up depending on how they turn out. edit: my bad, thought this was the neca figure

    Yeah, I passed on the regular version but pre ordered this one. I guess im just a sucker for the GITD gimmick.

    Interesting designs. Bane w/ Scarecrow should've been a deluxe figure tho, IMO.

    Yeah agreed on Baroness and Destro looking a little off. I have Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes preordered, looking forward to getting them.

    Which one is supposed to be the figuarts? The figure with the cherry and ghost looks like the chogokin.

    Yeah a Neca Lee Dracula and Cushing Van Helsing would be great but, what I'm really hoping for is a Captain Kronos.
