CW doesn't seem to learn, do they?

I'm not seeing it either, which I assume means it's gone. I figured with it being so hard to find, there still might be a few left. Nope.
Since its exclusive to Amazon, though, it shouldn't be that hard or that over-priced. But thats the story when it comes to hasbro's GI Joe.
-
If there's a $24.00 listing for this on Amazon I'm sure not seeing it. Once again though we see how hasbro's exclusives, especially when it comes to GI Joe, just fails. Again and again.

Great preview, looks good to me.....but that's one of the worst Green Lantern outfits I've seen in some time. Still, this looks like it'll be a great ride.

Now this is a great idea. I always liked the portrayal of Amanda Waller-much more realistic than what comics/tv etc. usually show female agents and cops like- 20-30 something year old runway models (nothing against them but frankly they wouldn't have the knowledge or experience to really be in those fields). Loved CCH Pounder's voice acting for Waller on the JLA animated series (and she could do a great on-screen version too). Viola Davis is an EXCELLENT casting choice as well!

I'm surprised it lasted long as it did. Some seasons were ok, but not enough to truly grab me. When I went back, virtually the entire cast has changed, there were almost no superhero costumes or even powers being used, and everyone is some kind of goofball. Hey it was a longshot anyway.

Well its nearly May and no sightings yet, so "early 2022" doesn't look like its gonna pan out. Maybe late summer?

Oops...looks like Action Force's Swarm troopers have some competition...

So much for giving my wallet a break and passing on this wave! I've got so much Mythic Legions stuff already; really thought I'd sit this one out. Man was I wrong! So yeah, all in, not even gonna play after I saw the reveal. Also these look like a lot of new sculpts. Wish they'd start doing double elbows/knees though. Can't wait for the Cosmic Legions to do some human-type figures next.

I own a firearm, but I am not a "gun guy". I have no burning need to have action figures with guns, unless its ACCURATE TO THE CHARACTER. There is zero sense to a company making a "no gun" policy for their action figure characters, and at the exact same time making movies and television shows showcasing those exact characters, firing these weapons off, soaked in blood, wreaking havoc, slow mo montages, etc. This is irrational on the part of the WB, and just another reason for me not to buy this line.

Maybe this time they'll get it right. I've not been impressed with Star Trek since Voyager to be honest. It was, to me, clearly running out of gas by the end of that series.
I thought the premise of Enterprise was good, but it quickly ended up a waste. For a series that was supposedly to take place before the original run, it basically just trampled the idea. The Abrams "reboot" was a mockery and mash up of poor writing and dazzling effects. But nothing would be as horrible as Discovery. Every continuity flaw Enterprise may have had was doubled, tripled down on Discovery, till it just couldn't be seen as any part of Trek. Its an insult to the intelligence of anyone to try to say that this is in the same continuity as the original Trek.
And Picard, which I'm sure everyone thought would be the saving grace, was an embarrassing disaster.
I don't have a lot of faith that this new show will be much better, but who knows. Maybe they'll get it right this time....

Looking forward to this. Already have a good number of these valaverse figs and this along with the next series will really round out the collection!

Not the biggest GI Joe fan....got very interested but then there was all that foolishness with the exclusives not being able to be found. Seem to be on track now, finally. But NOW....THIS is the one figure I'm really interested in. Crimson Guard!! And its not a straight re-paint of Cobra Commander. Hope it looks as good as the rendition!

Scott put a nice video explaining the situation...
I saw it, I don't think it was nice, it was a transparent and weak attempt to try to cover mattel. Sure, he says he's not slamming the fansites (even though he closes by saying the fansites should have used "common sense"). He starts out by saying over and over how he's not an apologist and isnt there to blame anyone and yet ends it by blaming them.
These fansite guys bought the toys from the retailer. They reviewed the toys they bought, like any other toy. There's no way for them to know that mattel/universal didn't want the images released yet. mattel shouldn't have sent these to toywiz or whatever other retailer is out there, if they didn't want the product to be bought yet.
I'd hate for anything like what mattel did to happen to this forum, or any forum like this.

Be careful....Mattel may come after you along with instagram LOL

Storm Collectibles tend to be around the $100 mark. Otherwise I would have bought all their Street Fighter stuff. One of those rare cases where they make Super 7 Ultimates look more affordable. I may have to bite the bullet on this one and pay up. I hope we get Princess too. With Mark and Princess I'd be satisfied, no way would I be able to afford the whole team if its from Storm Collectibles.

He looks pretty neat and a good idea but man I just cant get into their mythic legions line. Not just because of their prices but I just dont really like their proportions. They always have monstrous sized heads compared to their body size. They do some superior sculpting and effects to all their pieces and ive loved 4H for a long time. I still love and have some of their gothotropolis figures. But as ive followed their mythic legions lines, ive hated their proportions in alot of them.
I've been with them since the beginning and yeah, the heads do often come out too big (Otho is a great example) but the other thing is the forearms/wrists are too short. As they're starting to evolve to new models, these issues are slowly being addressed. Still havent quite reached that articulation point of double jointed limbs, or being able to move the head up and down (actually their latest series does have that capability, at least Magnus does). That was a sore point for me when 4HM were doing the DC Universe Classics line.

gotta go hasbro deluxe with that extra cape, $32.99! XD
Seriously though this is looking sweet....I've not seen every episode but I remember this show and those outfits are like Dave Cockrum class....and they're giving the dude the glass beak visor too?
Already starting to back off Marvel Legends....so some of that cash that would've gone to them might find itself heading over here instead .....

Well considering we have this new pic, which def shows a different cape, Im thinking we ll get at least 2 alt capes. I was thinking possibly 3 but really the first cape is closed and in more of an idle look whereas this new pic shows a more splayed out action cape going on. Not sure if there will be another cape added or not. They still have the alt heads/hands and possible other accessories to pack in. This boy will probably be pricey due to those capes alone.
So, instead of $19.95....$22.00? It'll be hard but I think I might be able to swing that.

Loved the show when I was a kid, I'm glad it's getting figures but Storm Collectibles is too pricey for me.
I predict it'll retail around $19.95

Hes looking pretty good, weird they went with this image and pose to reveal him tho. The cape takes over most of his body and doesnt show much. Hopefully we see more as the weekend comes.
I hope this is just an alt cape he comes with....

The 3 pack is a great idea for troop building. But I wonder if they made half or less of them with a commander instead of all the packs? Otherwise you wind up with 2 commanders for 4 troops for example. On the other hand, never mind! We should just be glad it looks like hasbro is finally getting these things out to the fans.

I get that the producers feel the need to use that iconic triple laser sight....but by using it in this setting, they're saying Predator technology remained the same for over 300 years.
