  1. It looks like they're doing Ken's fighter from Gatchman II (the Eagle Sharp), which is from the New God Phoenix.
  2. And probably also bidding for the toy license. No wonder Netflix is passing on this one.
  3. Can't order a f***ing thing. I'm guessing that the scalpers are now salivating over who they can sucker with their eBay suctions.
  4. Constant Batman action figures from McFarlane Toys. And now multiple variants. McFarlane Toys is handling their DC Comics toy license more and more like how Mattel did. This, unfortunately, is what happens with a DC Comics toy license where WB mandates that each wave must either have a Batman or a Superman. WB might be willing to do a Bat-family member or a Superman family member, like what was done with the DC Classics line.
  5. Thanks for the news. I got screwed the first time. I'm done with McFarlane Toys, especially when McFarlane Toys would rather jack up the prices with dioramas instead of accessories.
  6. I'm glad that Hasbro is allowing other online pre-orders for the G.I. Joe Classified series. This really helps out G.I. Joe fans, who don't want to deal with retail toy hunting. And avoids frustration with Target workers and store managers.
  7. This wave of WWE action figures from Mattel, I think, looks great. Looks like Mattel improved the body for Charlotte Flair. Too bad the recent Trish Stratus action figures has a cartoon-like face sculpt.
  8. McFarlane Toys, at least to me, used to make high quality action figures made for the direct market. With McFarlane Toys now finding space on the shelves of Target and Walmart, where price points restrict how much tooling and paint apps can be done, I personally think the quality gets worse and worse for McFarlane Toys. McFarlane Toys Gotham Knights figures, I think, look horrible. Gotham Knights Nightwing's body is too wide. Gotham Knights Red Hood and Robin both look like they've lost their necks. Gotham Knights Batgirl, at least to me, looks horrible all around. Hard pass for me.
  9. Forget about delayed. Target just cancelled my pre-order (September 24, 2021)! I know what the local Target workers do. I've stopped getting pissed off at local Target workers, who either allocate cases to themselves to buy or hoard them for their scalper buddies. If the Batman Year Two figure does make it Target store shelves, local Target manager can zero out their inventory to hide this. Target corporate knows that these loathsome practices go on, but they'll never do anything about it. McFarlane Toys doesn't care. All they care about is that their inventory of the Batman Year Two figure has sold out. Some Target workers are illegally profiting from this. And the scalpers keep their incomes going.
  10. I'm guessing that McFarlane Toys has a list of suggestions from DC Comics on what DC Multiverse action figures that they can make. With Death Metal currently being one of the most profitable things DC Comics has going right now, DC Comics probably wants McFarlane Toys to make Death Metal action figures. I would enjoy this now, because don't be surprised when there's a drastic shift...and McFarlane Toys can only make DC Future State action figures.
  11. There''s one plot line that I'd hope the new He-Man series picks up on. Specifically, about Prince Adam's mom--Queen Marlena. She has a brief origin story, where she was an astronaut who crash landed on Eternia. For some reason, that made me think of the Blackstar cartoon--also done by Filmation. In Blackstar, John Blackstar is an astronaut who winds up on the world of Sagar. He winds up with the Star Sword, while the Overlord winds up with the Power Sword. In one episode, John Blackstar's former girlfriend winds up on Sagar; and then manages to return to Earth. She requests a rescue mission to bring back John Blackstar. What if this rescue mission accidentally wound up on Eternia, instead of Sagar? Anyways, I think it would be cool if the new He-Man series brings in the Blackstar TV series.
