  1. hmmm....... so they're not updating the Viper with the new sleeve-above-the-elbow arms that Spirit introduced for that body....
  2. Looks great. Hoping that these new "sleeves rolled up above the elbow" arms for this body end up being used on whatever updated Viper they come out with next, like maybe the one in that rumored Viper+Viper Officer 2-pack
  3. Oh good lord NO. Actually mad that Hasbro's getting into this NFT bull.
  4. He's from a recently-released video game called Deathloop
  5. man, adult collector-oriented toy companies doing figures of their own original characters/IP really love to include middle-finger hands, huh
  6. no, it's samurai Spartan armor... y'know, something there's been some version of since Bungie's Halo 3, 14 years ago, with the Hayabusa armor.....
  7. Going by Super 7's other Ultimates figures: the thing that will mainly distinguish these from the Classified Series, most likely, is that they will pretty much look like 1/12 scale versions of the original toys, relatively soft detail and all.
  8. It's absolutely not some Japanese law, there's still plenty of other Japanese figures of non-DC properties that have guns (realistic and non-realistic). It's just a weird WB restriction on DC merch. A recent rare interview with Mez Markowitz of Mezco Toys from like back in the beginning of May corroborates it, he talked about the rule.
  9. Looks like the weird "no guns" DC toys rule is hitting this movie's figures especially hard, huh
  10. ...Why would this be a bad move? She may not have that extensive of a directing career, but she seems to have had quite the well-regarded film recently in One Night In Miami. Nothing about the possibility of her being chosen really screams "bad move" to me.
  11. Probably because of Warner Bros/DC's really weird restriction recently on guns in their merch. Things below a certain pricepoint aren't even allowed to have guns (with even things like $90 Mezcos and $100 MAFEXs somehow still being below that minimum price) and even things above that have to obscure them in the marketing material (like that Prime 1 statue of the Grim Knight, even though it's thousands of dollars and no kid would ever be in a position to buy it).
  12. ...Suit itself looks good, but in this pic it looks like photoshopped on him?? Hope we get a real picture of him in the costume soon, it'll probably look better.
  13. Whoever's running the price up on this thing, they're almost certainly trolling. No way someone's actually paying 10s of thousands for this.
  14. 1: Wee bit of a Clone Wars vibe with how Janeway's model looks 2: Man does she look out of place amongst the other characters 3: Why is she still in the Voyager/early DS9 uniform when by the time she got back to the Alpha Quadrant they'd already long since switched to the DS9/Movies uniform?
  15. last i checked, retail employees don't kill a DOJ-estimated 9,000-10,000 dogs per year
  16. I think it's important to point out the large number of retailer exclusives from various lines that Hasbro has essentially reissued through "Fan Channel" sites like BBTS, EntertainmentEarth, Dorkside, etc. in the past year or two. That to me seems like Hasbro's aware of the problem and is taking this as at least a first step in trying to remedy it.
  17. Nah, Mahershala Ali at the very least did Prowler in Into The Spider-Verse (which he played super well), and Jon Hamm's done at least a couple things here or there.
  18. Yes, but it's still where they're currently based, which is presumably why Visit Burbank wanted to make it.
  19. wait, i don't get why either of those are supposed to be "ridiculous" it's Burbank cuz that's where DC is based and literally what the hell could you possibly mean by digital sculpting being a ridiculous concept?
  20. Nope, these are new official figures of Machine Robo, the toyline that was brought into the west as GoBots.
  21. Given how this Baroness has none of the gold highlights of the promo art we've seen previously aside from those on the glasses, I'm guessing we'll have a single-carded Baroness with more paint apps. While I agree we'll see these at mass retail with different paint apps most likely, I think Amazon Storm Shadow is actually the one counterexample, as I think the normal Storm Shadow we get will probably be an actually different mold, going by how the promo art looked.
