  1. They did, Todd just reeeally loves Batman, so of course he's doing the characters from the event where their whole thing is Batman + Other Character x Evil.
  2. I think they were at least partially trying to respond to lower-key complaints about the lack of a smiling head with a number of their releases that would have made sense to have one (comics Superman, both comics Wonder Women, comics Aquaman, etc.), but they're just... not great at sculpting genuine smiles. There's something about the expression they're not capturing.
  3. Honestly, I think this show might have some of the best costuming of all the CW DC shows. These costumes all look pretty damn spot-on, and are very recognizably the character they're supposed to be without trying to "tone it down" or something, and the best part is they're this way from the start instead of taking multiple seasons to get to this point.
  4. The game they are playing is just Dungeons and Dragons, Critical Role is the name of the show. It's a bunch of voice actors playing a custom D&D campaign.
  5. I actually like this Batmobile. Reminds me of how in the 70s and 80s, it was often a somewhat-modified, rather normal car, and it perfectly makes sense for the Batmobile to be like that in this stage of his career. Still pissed the belt is black instead of yellow/gold/bronze/etc. *grumble grumble*
  6. WHY DID THEY MAKE THE BELT BLACK???????? ...i know it's such a small thing, but it completely throws off the suit and makes it too bland, ruins the visual iconography About the rest of the suit tho: remember y'all, it's a stunt suit and that's not Pattinson in the suit. Stunt suits always look worse than the actual normal suit, so I have no doubt the suit overall will look better than this. It's just the belt not being yellow/gold/bronze/etc. that disappoints me.
  7. It looks ok so far, only thing that looks particularly off to me is how much of the face/cheek/chin the mask exposes compared to normal, it feels more like Season 2-onward Netflix Daredevil in that area than most Batman costumes. Still, this looks like it should be a good costume. Only thing I'm really crossing my fingers for is for the belt to be yellow/gold/bronze/etc. It's such an important part of Batman's visual iconography to me, he just doesn't look right without it. Most movie Batman costumes get it right, but I'm still nervous about that slim chance they'll make the belt black or something and throw the whole thing off. EDIT: It was noted elsewhere that the degree to which this costume exposes the cheeks actually seems to be inspired by The Animated Series' look, which similarly had a much wider mouth hole than most Batman looks.
  8. I think "cost" number of $12.99 there isn't how much they sell it for, but how much they bought it for from McFarlane. The "sell" number next to it ($19.87) lines up with what they usually charge for $19.99 MSRP 6-7" figures.
  9. Wait, aren't these 1/12 and not 1/6? The picture says 1/12, and the sculpts and clothes look more like 1/12 scale stuff than what Threezero usually does at 1/6 scale.
  10. The other version you're referring to is the Rebirth-inspired version with a skirt and removable armor that was revealed either during SDCC or Toy Fair earlier this year, and has yet to go up for order.
  11. This figure looks absolutely great and I can't wait to have it in hand. Only gripe is I wish there was also a neutral-expression version of the bearded/shaved head.
  12. I'd say take a look at their Fortnite, Naruto, One Punch Man, and upcoming Mortal Kombat, Harry Potter, My Hero Academia, and Call of Duty figures to judge by, if you wanna get a better taste for what the DC figures will be like, given they all share something they've confirmed their DC line will have: an articulation scheme that's even more articulated than Marvel Legends.
