  1. I can't help but feel like part of the problem is the controversy surrounding the character of Reva herself. I don't want to be one of those angry fan boys, and I'm not stating an opinion personally on the character one way or the other, I'm just thinking that controversy probably had to do with people not wanting to back the project. I know it didn't make me more excited about shelling out 500.00 for yet another giant lightsaber.
  2. I agree. I don't think Solo's casting was the problem at all. Alden did his homework on Harrison Ford, and Donald Glover was a perfect choice for young Lando, if you ask this scruffy lookin' nerf-herder. Besides that, I think we can all agree that stories featuring younger versions (or older versions) of iconic characters requires a bit of suspended belief from the fans. Maybe you disagree with that, but again, I don't think Solo's problems were it's cast choices, but the writing. In addition to that, Star Wars fans such as myself were already sensing that the well had been poisoned after The Last Jedi, so that certainly didn't help things. I'm all for re-casting. In fact, I really wish Lucasfilm would recast Kathleen Kennedy.
  3. Does it count if my office is already full of action figures?
  4. "You guys, I told you, I hate it when you do that, alright?"
  5. The picture from the article made me cringe. Coincidentally, my 1/4 scale Leonardo did take a dive, and broke his leg at both joints. Thank God for Super Glue...
  6. I mean, the violence and such, absolutely unacceptable, but the scarcity issue alone was enough for me to quit buying the NECA cartoon turtles. Fortunately, I've been able to preorder all of the movie stuff, so I've not missed any of that. TMNT is my main thing (check the username and profile pic). But I got so frustrated being unable to find the cartoon product on shelves. I ended up giving up and switching to Super7.
  7. It’s based on the 80’s Samurai Leo figure from Playmates, which also has a re-action figure. I don’t guess this is necessarily an indicator of Usagi, so much as it is the next natural step for Super7’s TMNT line, as these were the first original turtle variants (along with Undercover Don, Sewer Surfin’ Mike and Space Cadet Raph). Not that I’m trying to pour water on the fire, because an Usagi figure would absolutely be a welcome addition to this collection.
  8. Another question, is this "Mighty Morphin" Power Rangers? Or just, the next season of the ongoing show?
  9. I’m with you. And I’m a huge MMPR fan. If they really want to keep the MMPR figures in the various waves, there are so many characters/directions they haven’t gone yet. Ninjetti Rangers, 95 Movie Rangers, heck, if the head sculpts were good, I’d be willing to buy civilian rangers. Get them in their iconic outfits from the pilot? Plus there are still characters like Bulk, Skull, Scorpina, Rocky, Cat, Adam, Aisha, 6-inch scale Megazords to fight the two (count ‘em, two) Goldar we now have. It just seems to me that with the exception of Conner, this wave is kind of a waste. There are still tons of characters from MMPR to do before revisiting both Green/White Rangers with minor tweaks. Plus the putty? That should have been the two-pack. Give us a Rita putty and a Zedd putty and move on. I need some Time Force Rangers and Astronema!
  10. At least we don't have to worry about these having "derpy" eyes. Lookin' at YOU, Donatello...
