Always an informative review. Dusty seems to be low on the accesories side, The additional goggles seems a bit unnecessary. Another rifle or pistol would’ve been a “disarming” gesture!

Very informative review. Who would’ve thought the variant red Mirage would see a retail release at this time. This seems to be a missed opportunity for Hasbro or Takara but a boon for bootleggers and avid TF collectors. I am of the opinion that there is room for collecting KOs even though it infringes on the IPs, as long as they don’t pass it off as the real thing and fool unsuspecting buyers.

A lot of fan service has been brought by the Mandalorin to the BOBF. Andor seems compelling, while Kenobi is a slowburn. Star Wars on Disney+ seems to be more viable as a medium for fans than the sequel movies. But, can the rumored retcon/timeline shift for the latter be its saving grace?

I don’t know if it’s a licensing issue on what characters Todd is pulling from the DC pantheon of heores and villains, but there seems to be a lot of needless characters issued. Don’t get me wrong, if there is a clamor for a “Signal” action figure, then good for you. But I’ll bet majority of these waves will either be peg warmers or heading to the clerance aisle. Can we at least get a decent Kingdom Come wave, now that the Armored Batman has been released?

It’s something nice to have but definitely a space hogger. This hobby is fast siphoning the wallet and taking over shelf space and those two factors will be at play in considering getting a 1:12 Dragonfly copter. How I wish they started with the Vamp, or something smaller like the Bubble Trubble (but this might be a retail product similar to Serpentor’s Air Chariot).

I totally agree with you. With the vast number of toy lines, from various toy makers, in different scales, one would go crazy chasing all of it, let alone the ever elusive variant or chase figure.
Know what you like, set a reasonable budget and get what you want.

Another interesting review by Brad. Entertaining as always. We need more DC-centric toy reviewers out there.
And yes, I’m not a fan of Warner Bros. removing “guns” from their toys as an attempt to be a more “responsible” company.
We grew up playing with guns and we turned out alright. The more we hide the concepts of guns the more we become unaware of it and eventually create more problems. There are a lot of ways to be responsible, and one way is to talk about it instead of just removing it from the discussion.

An icon of the toy industry. His genius has touched our toy collecting in one way or another. We should celebrate these people with more more news about them in the forum. More toy maker articles!

It's amazing how many iterations a toy can have aside from its normal action figure format. This Domez is a case in point.

Storm Collectibles make great character toys, but their prices are way above the reach of my wallet.
-
Though the pictures are 3d renderings, I'm hoping to see an actual prototype of the figure. I'm totally unaware of the character, since I don't play the game; I trust Hasbro to deliver a kicka$$ toy by next year.

I'm so stoked with this James Gunn helmed Suicide Squad. Best thing that happened to DC, thanks to Marvel dumping Gunn for the sake of ideological correctness.

Looks like Cyborg is a messy eater. But jokes aside, I always seem to find something lack luster in Todd's figures. We need consistency in sculpts and working articulation, and the face painting, based on an actual person, is less to be desired.

Looking at the gray-scale 3D rendering of the wrestling figures, it always gives rise to their possibility of becoming excellent bases for customs.

With the Midieval Spawn becoming the next Kickstarter, it will be a pass for me, x2. Great looking Violator, though.

Don't know what the story will be but I'm hoping for a G1 inspired live action to be done. Let's hope and see.

I have a faint recollection of this cartoon, but it did not stop me from pre-ordering this bad boy!
-
I think the buyers of TrU are more interested in turning in a profit by re-selling the IP of the brand than selling toys.
-
For a Free Comicbook Day, these figures sure are expensive.
-
I heard the G.I. Joe line will be announcing the movie figures, but we need more Classified. Major Bludd, anyone (in an Aussie accent, no doubt).

I’m rooting for the King! I love seeing Kong connect with a right hook. Uncanny and wonderful to watch.
-
Nope. Still not watching.

May be start with a photo-real face sculpt, then may be we can talk about Dexter’s blood splatter.
-
Even if Super7 decided to include a 1:1 version of this Samoflange (and I thought Rick and Morty have the weirdest tools, a Plumbus, case in point) I still wouldn’t be able to push myself to buy the Thundertank.

ToyFarce: Four Horsemen Studios Figura Obscura Krampus and Father Christmas Review and Images

From Fresh Monkey’s Naughty or Nice to the Four Horseman’s Figura Obscura, we’re in for a Christmas themed treat. I’m looking for Santa’s reindeers, I’m looking at you, Rudolph; and a sleigh, would be nice too. It’s these toys that are worth displaying this season without being out of place!
