  1. I'd like to think this line is starting out with repaints to test interest in these characters and, if successful, they'll add new molds in future waves. Now that the new trilogy has ended it'll be interesting too see what the new direction of the line will be at Toy Fair.
  2. Any word on what the rest of wave 2 will be? Hoping for more than just the Arya repaint and additional dragons. I'm concerned this will be the last wave if the new articulation isn't implemented with a solid character roster.
  3. I feel that. After all, regardless of what they do, it's not likely they'll be able to please everyone. Many of us will undoubtedly feel let down. I don't mind either way, for me, Star Wars is what you make of it.
  4. To each their own. If it's any help, this looks to be the last major SW film before Disney & LF pump the breaks a bit and focuses on streaming and smaller projects for awhile. That's what appears to be happening anyway. For myself, I'm excited for a "grand finale" to the saga. I'm curious as to how they wrap it all up.
  5. Great paintjob then! I imagine it looks great on the shelf with other black series
  6. I was waiting for a Figma BOTW Link before the game came out. I thought it was inevitable with all the Zelda series figmas we were getting. Seems that trend stopped cold after the Twilight Princess releases for whatever reason. I wouldn't rule it out, but there were many of us waiting for a BOTW Link in Figma only to still have nothing to this day. Nendroid and Medicom RAH, sure, but no 1/12 scale anything. However, Figma has continued to provide character for its persona line and the new Fire Emblem game just announced new figmas at wonderfest. We may yet see Legend of Zelda Figma with this resurgence in nintendo/ video game characters
  7. That head looks dead on, where did it come from? Great use of cloth too, it's a lot harder to implement than many may think.
  8. Repaints make sense to make money off of the new sculpts, but any further delay to a series 2 with the new articulation is a dance with cancellation. Hopefully a series 2 is well on the way. I'm definitely hoping to see some prototypes at SDCC.
  9. Thanks for the info, I'm eager to hear all the details we can get. It's a longshot but I figured I'd ask: was there any clarity on whether or not they they would be two packs/ boxed sets? I could see Owen coming with Blue from SDCC if that was the case. I'm hoping for a JW Claire with flair to put with the colossal T-rex. That scene was my favorite Claire moment in the series.
  10. That hip articulation is really impressive on the crouching pose. Neca has come a long way, I may need to check out some Predators.
  11. Anybody interested in Batman's future should check out Pattinson's body of work post Twilight. Not only is he a really talented guy, he also comes off as a really reasonable human being with drive and passion for his work. One role shouldn't be enough to condemn an actor forever. Heck, Christian Bale would've gotten the same flack if he headlined a series like Twilight. Imagine if one film was all it took to take Bale out as Batman. Imagine if The Dark Knight never happened because of fans backlash against Heath Ledger as the Joker. We would have missed out on some of the greatest superhero performances of all time. Also, Mcfarlane's gets the DC license the year before, so you better believe having a super articulated/detailed Joaquin Phoenix Joker next to Pattinson Batman Is going to be the beginning of a great new era in DC film collecting. So much good is coming after so much wrong, I'd rather be excited and give this new direction the benefit of the doubt.
  12. The use of the Kylo Ren belt is brilliant. It actually looks like an unintentional arashikage symbol at that scale.
