  1. Honestly my only complain are the faces. They all look really weird. I love how McFarlane seems to be incorporating some new ideas, such as what it seems like interchangeable head pieces for Kirishima and Uraraka. Again, only thing throwing me off now are the faces, and the fact that these cost double where I live. But other than that, can´t wait to see how McFarlane continues with this line. Totally agree! I think some villains could even fit with the Figma figures. We could also use some teachers!
  2. I was really excited to get a Rita figure, but I'm just not feeling that face. I would've prefer an evil smiling face, rater than this weird face. Also it looks kinda funny how she's holding hands with Lord Zedd and making that angry expression. Hopefully she'll be released single carded and with a different head expression. Although I understand why Hasbro is putting her in a two pack, guess they think she would be a peg warmer.
  3. Finally! An All Might that scales decently with Midoriya. I'm guessing I'll have to mix and match characters from different companies to get a proper display. We really need more characters, especially villains. I think the only company that has made one was McFarlane.
  4. I was just thinking the same. That base looks cool, but I'm sure it'd up the price quote a bit. I actually prefer this black and grey look rather that the blue and grey, so I'm thinking I'll get this one.
  5. Ochako looks very nice. I believe they also had Kirishima and Todoroki in prototype at the show. The fact that more and more companies are getting into My Hero Academia makes it the more difficult to choose which one to buy from! I would love to say all, but my wallet says no!
  6. They look interesting. Definitely gonna give these a try if I ever see them since I love My Hero Academia. It's rather interesting to see how many companies are producing MHA figures at this point. That makes me glad, to have a lot of options.
  7. I really like the approach Bandai is taking with this simpler 6" figures. Definitely an option for those moderately interested in a property but not willing to go and invest huge amounts of money in order to get their favorite characters. Like, I liked this series as a child, can't say I'm super into it, but it would be interesting to get a couple of these, like Seiya, a Shiryu, maybe Doko.
  8. Damn! He looks really awesome!! Can't wait to see more images and eventual reviews. Only thing that makes me sad is that the MK 11 figures don't seem to be getting distributed in Mexico, so I may to order this out of places like BBTS.
  9. I loved the Storm Shadow and Snake-Eyes customs, but they all look awesome in general. Personally I'm not really attached to GI Joe, however, if the figures follow something along the lines of Marvel Legends or Power Rangers, I'm in!
  10. Indeed! I'm really interested in this line, especially because of scale and articulation. Hopefully they'll turn out to be a really decent line.
  11. Nice! Can't wait till we have images for this figure. Definitely a must for me.
  12. She looks so gorgeous! All of the details and articulation definitely makes want to get her, but then I'd have to get the Batman figure so she isn't alone.
  13. This figure has been making quite a fuzz on Figma groups. It seems that she was rather hard to find, and obviously very expensive. Personally, I'm kinda interested, but I'd rather other characters from the show.
  14. I'm interested in both Wonder Woman figures, can't wait to get more details about it
  15. I know. What I meant was that Todd, being his own boss, is able to say a bit more than others in the industry, speak more openly about the how or why if something, like his line being 7".
  16. I know what you mean, that's the thing with big companies. I was watching an interview the other day with the person in charge of the Power Rangers line from Hasbro, and all of the answers reduced to "I can't reveal anything, but there's some cool stuff coming, so keep an eye out". That kinda renders the whole interview uninteresting.
  17. A very interesting topic. Definitely curious to see how companies go about making toys in the future. Things are changing rather quickly, and some stores are just refusing to change. In Mexico we only get collectibles like Marvel Legends or DC multiverse, at a decent variety of stores. We do struggle getting some store exclusives, since such stores do not exist here, but on that front we're not that bad. It's with companies like Neca, DST, and basically any Asian toymaker where we struggle, because there's no one, other than small collector stores, that brings those products here. There's only one company, DAM, that brings some of the Tamashii Nations products, but they do not really sell them, they send them to a few distributors, which again, are some small collector oriented stores, which most of the time, manage a lot of sales through Facebook, so in the end we have to turn to online shopping. Really, a nice topic to discuss.
  18. This looks pretty neat, definitely considering getting one.
  19. Great interview! Very insightful, and although I'm still not 100% invested in the line due to scale, I can understand Todd's point of view a little bit more. I really hope you can give us more interviews like this one @JayC, they're rather entertaining. On the topic of BAFs, I really like Todd's point of view about making them smaller waves, although I'm not a fan of the Batmobile thing, I would much rather a set of accessories like the computer he mentioned, or even things like tables, chairs, thing that can add more to the display of the figures. Really looking forward to seeing what he does with the line. The main things I'd like to see are different versions of the Teen Titans, I really want a nice looking/articulated Raven figure.
  20. Impressive! Still a bit hesitant but, I'm certainly getting at least three figures from this line.
  21. I agree with you. Superman looks very nice, Batgirl has something off. I like their looks overall, might get Batman and Superman, and maybe Batgirl for my gf. Other than that, not really interested in the line mainly because of scale. But if McFarlane starts making characters from the Titans comics, especially Raven and Starfire, I'll certainly get them. I'd say this is a decent start for the line, there's room for improvement, no doubt about it, but they're certainly better than what Mattel did. I'm really curious to see how this line develops, and how McFarlane deals with distribution of these figures outside the US.
  22. One has to wonder, with Mattel dealing with a lot of problems, is Hasbro actually competing with someone?
  23. Thank you, and happy and prosperous New year for y'all.
