  1. At current pace, i don't see this funding unless they open it to international markets. I watched the livestream earlier and their reasoning made no sense... due to payment issues??? Eternia playset was open to all markets along with other projects. Still scratching my head over that...
  2. It's going to be the Jurassic Park Compound... makes sense to do it as a crowdfunder, especially since it's the 30th Anniversary! Hopefully it's reasonably priced...
  3. Like someone else said, I think the whole point of this line is to create background characters (street thugs) for your action-figure displays/photography. I'm actually more intrigued by the "random guy" features and interchangeable heads, body display options than the alien monsters.
  4. McFarlane has already done Animated Series versions of Batman, Superman & Green Lantern. If anything, they would continue to make more animated figures in the same style and scale which wouldn't complement the previous DC Direct figures at all. Trust me, I'm with you and would have liked to seen more obscure characters like Clock King but I don't think that will happen at this point.
  5. So basically "Stranger Things" meets "Ghostbusters"... alright, looks like fun.
  6. Would have been neat if Breaker came with an alternate head blowing bubble gum which was his signature look in the comics...
  7. $29.99... what's it made out of? Cardboard? That's cheaper than the Extreme Sets dioramas...
  8. There is nothing stopping Hasbro from re-releasing the hard to get figures on Hasbro Pulse like they did recently with Firefly and Cobra Viper. Perhaps this will be part of their announcement tomorrow. Target would get first priority with their exclusive deal on new figures but Hasbro could release them later on their site. There are quite a few items (Marvel Legends, Star Wars, Transformers) that come back in stock on Hasbro Pulse. They just need to limit 1 per customer and have plenty of quantities.
  9. Are you referring to the G.I. Joe Collector’s Club FSS that ran from 2013-2018? If so, then you have to admit that's a poor example for your argument. Sure they ran out of figures to make after 8 subscriptions of 13 figures each = 104 total figures. Not to mention, Hasbro already made most of the key figures in their GI Joe 25th Anniversary line, so the FSS was just a means to get the more obscure characters that Hasbro could not put out at mass retail. I'm not looking for Hasbro to make a 6" Hardtop figure... but I would like to get characters like Beach Head and Major Bludd without being exclusive. Put them out for pre-order like NECA has done with their Animated TMNT line and be done with it. Plus it wouldn't be a true "subscription" service as you wouldn't have to subscribe to every figure in the wave. And you can get multiples for army builders.
  10. Yay... Maybe we'll get to see more exclusive figures that will be impossible to find. In all honesty, this has been one of the most hyped and wanted toy line for years... I'm talking 6" Joe figures. If Hasbro is unable to put these out at mass retail, then why not simply have a open pre-order for a week/month and have all the fans & collectors put in their orders and then make them. Treat it like a monthly GI JOE Haslab with a minimum cap that must be met before a figure can be produced. I'd rather wait 6-12 months to get the figures made that I want instead of supporting the scalpers.
  11. We're half way there... now just need Grant, Muldoon, Tim & Lex 2-pack, Gennaro and Dr. Wu and I'll be happy!
  12. I just don't understand why Hasbro can't put these figures online for a week as a pre-order. I think there is enough demand from collectors. Then produce them 6 months later (or whatever the time frame is from start to finish). Similar to the Hasbro Pulse Marvel Legends army builders they have done in the past...
  13. Most of the comic book/hobby stores should carry these figures in Canada. They will likely be available online at some retailers like this: https://nmctoys.ca/catalogsearch/result/?q=Lord+of+the+rings
  14. Are those all the accessories that Legolas comes with? What happened to his signature blades? Did DST completely miss the mark?... I'm a huge fan of LOTR and still have all the Toy Biz figures, but I honestly don't think this line will have much longevity. Maybe another BAF wave and that might be it.
  15. It never made sense to me why McFarlane picked up the Game of Thrones license during the final season and then mention in an interview that it was hard to sustain the action figure line once the show was over. At least we got the 3 dragons... one thing that McFarlane excels at.
  16. These are some of the best custom figures I have ever seen... hopefully Hasbro takes note on how the Dreadnoks should look like in the Classified line.
  17. Best case scenario, these turn out to be like Black Widow (Deadly Origin) or Red Hulk Target exclusives. At first, you couldn't find any on the shelf when they started hitting stores. Now, it's all I see when I walk into a TRU (especially that Black Widow)...
  18. They're almost at $1 million in less than 24 hours...
  19. Not for anything, but has anyone really asked for 5 inch LOTR figures? I don't think anything will ever come close to the Toybiz line and I don't expect it too since there are no films to support the line. We will probably get less figures that the Hobbit franchise.
  20. This show was simply superb. A great follow up to the original Alan Moore story. I just hope that if/when they do continue with more seasons they can follow the same success.
  21. Guess which one is not the "real" Joker... Awesome photo, BTW.
  22. Man, I don't understand why they make it so hard for you guys in the States to get these. We don't even have Target stores in Canada but most Comic book stores are able to get these through Diamond. Plus EB Games (our version of Gamestop) has all the NECA Turtles for pre-order at some point...
