Holy 6" Retro 66 Batman Figures From McFarlane Toys

I thought the same thing. That's pretty low. The Mattel bat mobile was more than that if I remember right.- 132 replies

If these are ultimates they'll be cheaper than the cobra island figures. I'm gonna stick with hasbro, but excited to see what this is.

I had a Monstar growing up. I might be tempted when they do him, but I am trying to thin out how many lines I collect.

quite a collection. Love how you have the two halves of the power sword on the origins display. -
Hasbro G.I. Joe June Live-Stream Coverage

Loving these figures. Hating having to hunt for the exclusives though. I think I'm good with the first release on snake eyes, but this one is tempting. I actually like the first Roadblock. I don't mind the sci fi weapons, haha. -
I’m going to be moving soon and have a decent sized collection out of package. id love to hear recommendations or suggestions from those that have had to do this before. I want to keep everything safe and manageable.

It's back up for pre-order on BBTS for those interested. I went for it on there since $4 shipping, loot option, and pay when it arrives.

G.I. Joe Classified Cobra Commander Official Images
TheMikeSnyder replied to Bespin refugee's topic in Action Figure News
Looks pretty nice. I'm debating on this one, or holding out for the napkin head. But there's also the Darth Vader looking helmet too. He's the one Joe character that has different looks I'd actually want. -
All good stuff guys. My wife has absolutely no problem with it and even has some of her own stuff. If anything she's a bit of an enabler. I'll be debating on a thing and she'll always be like "just get it" and I love that, although I think sometimes later maybe I should have waited, haha. I definitely love to get a deal, and lately I'm trying to think twice before buying. I try to think if I even have the shelf space for what I'm buying or if it's something I'll be fine missing out on. I went for the kickstarter spawn because it would only go up in price on second market and it'll be a centerpiece. I got the power-con MOTU set too for the same reasons. But I've been holding off on more black series storm troopers and starting the the GI Joe lines because I should have no issue getting them later. We are trying to start saving for a house and so I try and think about that whenever I spend on non essentials, but I also want stuff in said house, so it's a balancing act for sure. Thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone.

It's a cool looking set, but is it just me or have they re-released these figures quite a bit over the years?

I have been collecting for about 30 years, and while buying toys brings a lot of joy, it's tough sometimes to resist fun stuff because I'm a responsible adult. I'm good with my money and my bills, and never lean on anyone financially, so it's obviously not too bad. But when a marvel legends wave gets announced and I actually want all of them, it's like a "yay" meets "oof" moment. So I'm wondering. How do you guys go about budgeting your toy collecting. Do you allow yourself a certain amount to spend a week/month? Do you have a credit card specifically for toys? Do you kinda just go for it and worry about it later? No judgements at all. I'm just curious what other people do so they can have fun and get the figures they want and also make sure they don't overspend.

Definitely thinking about it. The shipping puts it right on the line of "worth it" for me.

I don't mind them as an add on, but I'd prefer if they had full swords as well, like how they did with classics. Give us the option.

If he includes a full sword this is fine, but if the only sword he has is the half sword that's a bit of a bummer.
