This is truly amazing. We need a 1962 King Kong, hopefully NECA and/or Bandai make one at some point. -
I participated in a live stream of a guided walkthrough of the Neca booth in which I asked two questions: 1: Do they have any plans to release a Panther Alien in the Kenner Alien line? (this didn't get answered directly) 2: Will they be making a Gidorah figure? The answer was the most disappointing part of toy fair for me. They basically said that to do one in scale it would be so big they'd have to retail at 150 dollars or so and they weren't sure that there would be enough of a consumer base at that price point. I get it...just super disappointing. I'm most excited about McFarlane Mortal Kombat figures being an actual thing. The more I look at the whole two images they have provided to us, the more excited I get. I played MK in the arcade as a child, actually it was primarily at Pizza Hut back when they had arcades in them. I'm a lifelong fan of the franchise and have really been enjoying the resurgence in popularity over the last decade or so. Ive got the storm ermac, shao kahn, and goro, but you know...I wish I had a few more figures to show for the amount of money I have in those... At least the value seems to be doubling or more as they go out of print. Sorry, I'm rambling at this point. I'm very excited.

Mattel's DC Multiverse 6" Wave 11 Goes Up For Pre-Order
TreiKaliToys replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Same, I haven't seen the Lobo wave in stores at all... I dont have a batman beyond figure so I was hoping to stumble on to one and only have to pay 20 bucks. The prospect of a McFarlane Terry has me second guessing even buying the Mattel figure. -
#NYTF19 - McFarlane New Products Showcase
TreiKaliToys replied to FASVB's topic in 2019 San Diego Comic Con
I'm hoping the Scorpion and Sub-Zero figures save me from having to pay the secondary market price for storm collectibles versions. They most likely won't be as cool as the classic costumes, but I'm hoping for at least faithful depictions of the characters. -

Congrats GrimeyGhost. And to everyone else "May the odds be ever in your favor..." I myself am not big on social media. The best times I ever had online were back when my friends and I had our own little forum, like 20 members or something . I love this place as well, great news and interesting conversation about plastic perfection...worlds beyond anything social media can deliver. Anyway thank you JayC, these contests rock! -
DC Comics Says Goodbye Mattel And Hello McFarlane Toys
TreiKaliToys replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I was thinking the same thing about him. He's been that way for at least the past year. He did not sound like that at all in the early Image days. I see no reason to be worried about the quality of these new 2020 DC figures. I'm sure that if McFarlane completely misses the mark, DC will pull the license. I don't think it will go that far. Mcfarlane make good looking toys, and it would seem they finally figured out the tooling for decent articulation as well.- 58 replies

Neca is looking good in my opinion. I am looking forward to the new Godzilla figures.

Storm Collectibles Announces 1:12 Darkstalkers Figures
TreiKaliToys replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I've been hoping for someone to pick up this license for quite some time. I've enjoyed the character designs since I was a child but as I believe it was said earlier, am unwilling to give up my first born to obtain them in plastic form.
