I never knew there was so many batman and joker variations until McFarlane got the DC license. It blows the mind how undiversified his DC line is with how many figures he pulls out in such a short amount of time. Boggles my mind. And of course all the MK variants of the same characters. How tf is he making any money? and are people really buying all these batman joker variations? Im not saying they arent cool looking but it just seems like overkill.

And Todd will take the concept of variants to a new level as it seems, I even remembered early last year when he promised some stuff for everybody. These last Hollidays I saw the Dark Knights metal selling like hot bread, while the Arkham video game figures will stay on the shelves for a while, yeah, Todd is ultimately going to overkill the Batman as long as people support him with theirs money.

I think this toy line is really quite rad, but the output of this line is so low that it seems almost tragic, this line should be huge by now but it seems stuck on re-paints and giving a figure every 6 months maybe.

Maybe they're waiting for the release of the sixth film, although I also find strange the small amount of figures that they've released in this collection so far, there are so many human characters and small species they could make (i.e. Gallimimus, Compsognathus, Dimorphodons, etc.).

Personally what holds me back about ttis line is the absence of large dinosaur species due to scale, I would love a line on the 1:18 scale, but with the detail and articulation of the Amber Collection figures.
