  1. If it's some kind of collectible maybe it's just a Mattel creations exclusive, but if Mattel is really going to try to bring that franchise back they better apply a very, very different plan than the one they're applying on MOTU.
  2. Hmm, Magic The Gathering and D&D?, it may or may not be what we expect, but I'm afraid Hasbro will end up killing my interest as usual.
  3. I like Homer and Moe, but hopefully some other company with a larger production capacity will have the license some day, a line with so many characters but a cost of $55 per figure it's not affordable for me. S7 simply want to keep playing the small/"boutique toys" company.
  4. Maybe because the character is black and it would not seem correct to portray a black person specifically as a street criminal, but I suppose there will be characters of different ethnic groups.
  5. Dude, Todd's re paints are just getting lazier and lazier, is it really profitable to release something so unattractive to the market?.
  6. Oh, man don't make us go over there just now, just be patient this series will be roasted part by part soon.
  7. Hmm, maybe they already had the mold, all the necessary tooling to produce the figure and finally decided to produce it, 'cause you know, make some quick cash.
  8. Poochie, Robot Itchy and Scratchy...interesting options but I think there are an infinity of characters more iconic than them. Moe would be the most remarkable, a pity I liked the idea but when it comes to S7 I better do this:
  9. Yeah well, something positive is that this He Man will probably last alive in the series for more than a couple of episodes.
  10. Although, I think, it would be more interesting to see which one out of those 3 lines stays warming up the pegs after some time.
  11. As an adult fan I just can't say that I'm interested, the designs seem weird to me, except for MAA although it looks like a scifi generic alien character, ok I'm not the target audience for this line, we'll see what children think but honestly I would still have to see a child interested in MOTU since the only ones I've seen looking for the figures are adults only.
  12. The multiverse tournament story arc was so forgettable to me that I barely remembered that Caulifla and She Broly got fused during the tournament. She looks good although I doubt that she can stand on her own due the weight of her hair.
  13. The only relevant panel is the first and only for Origins, the rest is just a plus.
  14. Triceraton looks good despite the odd scale, Shredder on the other hand...if it weren't for that face it would be "ok".
  15. It looks great, a lot of detail in the bandages maybe except for the hip piece, maybe it's just me but it looks a little big and the groin looks a little weird to me too.
  16. "The Simpsons figures announced". Me: "From Super 7". Me:
  17. It is not about distribution (wich is lazy anyway), there will simply be no strong demand, most of the MOTU fans I know are not interested in the reboot series, kids don't give a heck about MOTU (or toys in general) and the backlash caused by Kevin Smith's ideas are going to dent the acceptance of everything based on his series.
  18. That Mossquatch looks good but that's it. The price makes it not very accessible.
  19. This new line is destined to be the master of the discount bin, maybe the show will have several seasons like She-Ra's reboot did but in terms of merchandise I don't see much to come, yeah I could be wrong but something is sure Origins will continue to out sell both this line and Masterverse.
  20. If I still gave a f___ about Todd's DC Universe, these two guys would be on the top of my buy list for sure.
  21. Yes I did, but time will tell if it is true they are regular releases indeed or more Cobra Island, experience tells me that there will not be much difference between what we have seen and what we will possibly see next year although it doesn't matter, I never find anything related to the line in stores near me or online, it doesn't matter if it's exclusive or regular release, the line is being handled wobbly and aimlessly.
  22. How tolerant are you to frustration?, 'cause if you want to step into that line, you are going to have to endure a lot of frustration.
