    Bucky ML3

His head looks terrible, as do the red leggings. If I could find a decent head to swap, I'd consider uying him, but those red legs would have to go as well. They look terrible. The HML 3 cap sculpt looks pretty bad too.
  3. I had gotten completely out of collecting Star Wars figures, but these 30th anniversary figures have pulled me back in. Hasbro really needs to make the super articulation the standard wherever possible, these slanted swivel elbows just don't cut it.
  4. I really like Ewen Mcgregor's work. I think he was one of the few redeeming features of the prequels which were mostly terrible. I do love the idea Star Wars though.
  5. My brother said the same thing, but I enjoyed these books, and I enjoy good zomie movies.
  6. He was ALWAYS Magneto. Morrison ALWAYS intended for Xorn to be Magneto. Well, sure, that is the actuality of it, but up until the point we (the reader) knew any better - he wasn't Magneto yet. I also liked the character, but would have much preferred it to not have been Magneto. And everyone keeps talking about Claremont bringing Mags back, but the issue before Morrison's run Wolverine gutted and killed Magneto. Morrison then brought back Erik on Genosha (in the first or second issue of his run, I believe), and killed him off again in the same issue. And then at the end of his run, Magneto was brought back and killed by Wolverine again. ... And then a few months later Magneto was brought back. All in all, the man died 3 times in around a year's time span. A little bit awkward on the writing for any reader. I agree. I really like the character Morrison built up as Xorn, and I thought it was a terrible waste of a really great character to have him turn into Magneto or evil or whatever. He should have stayed Xorn, and I would have happily continued reading stories about Xorn. In the New-X men Xorn story where he tries to save the mutant boy who is bassically a chrysalis, Morrison wrote Xorn's thoughts which were very un-Magneto.
  7. @loll@ That stuff all snaps back into place like elastic. Just ask any women who has had a baby or two..or three! Ya just can't damage that stuff no matter how hard ya try. Take it from an expert! Just kiddin'! @hmmm@ about the "expert" part! Only if they do Kegals.
  8. I think this vote is a great idea. Unfortunately, I think these all look terrible. The few that don't look terrible are ruined by bad articulation. I think the best looking fig was the FA Storm, looks like a retooled Wasp, but I really have no interest in her.
  9. I loved the character before he turned out to be Magneto.
  10. I think Kevin Mckidd is a really good actor. Not Thor size, but really good.
  11. I am former military. I would have no proble voting for a female president, but I completely disagree with Hillary Clinton both morally and politically. She also seems very fake and manufactured to me, leading to my disdain rather than just disagreement. I have a freind who was in the Yankee White program, we were both USMC. The YW program guys gaurd the president. He said that Bill and Hillary treated him and the other Marines like crap, and would have the do menial work like they were servants. He said that one time Hillary threw coffee all over him when he opened the door for her. On the other hand, the Bush family always treated them really nicely. Both of the Mrs. Bushes would make them cookies and things.
  12. I feel the same way about the Serpentor.
  13. I'd have been all for Star Wars Legends Toybiz style, but I don't even buy Marvel Legends the way they are now.
  14. #WTF# For getting rid of the comics, not having nice worthy BAF's, cutting way less articulation & awful paint applications? Whatever makes you happy man....but speak for yourself.... @hmmm@ Right on!
  15. I prefer the Mattel line for articulation and such, and I really like the 4H sculpts, but I also really enjoy some of the artis specific DCD stuff like the McGuinness line. I'll probably collect the Mattel line, while picking up a few DCD.
  16. I don't know about the leg, but with my torso halves, I had to really wiggle them around before they would lock. Dow I don't think I could get them apart without breaking him.
  17. See here: http://photos3.figures.com/showgallery.php?cat=854 Check it out here: http://photos3.figures.com/showgallery.php?cat=853 group gallery online here: http://photos3.figures.com/showgallery.php?cat=858
  18. I'm sure someone has said this already, but I really think these hurt from a lack of mid thigh swivel, and at least waist swivel joints. I'f you're going to update the articulation, at least make it so the articulation is useful. I think a swivel at the shoulder insead of the elbow would have been a good idea as well. Look how poseable the Marvel Legends showdown figures were with just a few more joints.
  19. I just found Snake Eyes and Cobr Commander at the K-Mart in Mentor Ohio along with the Kung Foo Grip Sigma 6ers.
  20. Hulk had a son in a Peter David novel. His son was raised by Maestro Hulk. I think there was a graphic novel, or series based on his story that was pretty similar.
  21. The only one of these I'm really interested in is the McGuinness Hulk, though his joints still suck. The others all look dull, or just bad. I really like that they made a McGuiness Hulk, I think he has the best head sculpt I've seen on a hulk figure except maybe the Icons Hulk. If they made McGuinness Legends instead of Marvel Legends I might start buying them again.
  22. I don't believe there is anything you can do to get yourself into heaven except repent and believe. Ephesians 2 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast
  23. I bought the entire first wave of hml 1. I looked at them for a few weeks, and I sold all of them except Hercules. I tried to like them, but I just couldn't.
