#NYTF19 - Playmates New Products Showcase

Hoping to see Donnie in the purple suit in an upcoming wave.

    #NYTF19 - NECA TOYS

If it's a gaming license, I've been hoping they're referring to Sly Cooper since there's been talks of a television series recently & potential remastered treatment like Crash & Spyro.

    #NYTF19 - Super 7 Showroom Images

Well this is an ambitious & diverse line up for Super 7. Happy to see the MOTU Motion Picture He-Man & Skeletor. I'm hoping the released product of Prince Adam is satisfactory. That displayed Toxi & Voltron makes me hope that they can make a 7 inch Mazinger Z & other super robots from their Shogun Warriors license. With the licensing of TMNT, it seems they'll do 1987 styled designs but given the MOTU body I was kinda hoping this would mean toys of the 2003 version since NECA are already doing 1987 figures. I'm not sure what Super7 can bring to the table that NECA couldn't do, especially via retail releases. I just feel Super 7 would be more successful if they worked on TMNT 2003 since that iteration hasn't had anything new.
  4. I was happy for the Darkstalkers license but unhappy that there was nothing about Fist of the North Star. Guile & Axe Battler were my favorites to see here but everyone looks cool, especially Sagat. Hope to see Cammy in her traditional green later on.

#NYTF19 - McFarlane New Products Showcase

I guess we're all gonna be playing the waiting game. Since MK11 hasn't revealed many of the redesigns for the cast I'm not too excited yet. I'm very curious for the anime & DC licenses & hope they turn out as good as the Fortnite figures.I'll patiently wait for All Might. I would like to see McFarlane do something outside of the mainstream demographic for anime. Perhaps something along the lines of Hellsing Ultimate or other.
  6. That's some nice card art. Chun Li is the one I want.
  7. I was hoping for some more Real Ghostbusters figures such as Janine & some ghosts.
  8. I'm hoping it's on the level of Transformers Prime in terms of story. Since Prime was also animated by Polygon Pictures & the tweet mentions having a new art style, I'm assuming the series will look great. One of the irks I had with Machinma's & Tatsunoko's Power Of The Primes was the constant moving the head up & down when characters talked. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-02-15/rooster-teeth-polygon-pictures-produce-war-for-cybertron-animated-series-for-netflix/.143485

Funko Doing 5" Retro Street Fighter Figures

I gotta get that Chun Li.
  10. I really like this tomboy version of Supergirl.
  11. I mainly want Shredder so I'm glad he's packed with my favorite turtle. I was worried that each Turtle would be packaged with a Foot Soldier.

Mattel Working On New He-Man TV Series?!?

Wasn't expecting this. I hope this show can be the most successful He-Man adaptation, especially with the animation productions of today. Hopefully, it'll look something along the lines of the Netflix Castlevania, Thundercats 2011 or the 2d animation in the Berserk Golden Age films. Detailed character designs is definitely something needed for this brand to emphasize their vintage manliness.
  13. My knowledge only goes from Mighty Morphin to vague memories of Time Force. Aside from the essential Green Ranger, I'd be more inclined in purchasing the monsters, especially Ecliptor & Darkonda from In Space.
  14. YES! This is just what I wanted to hear. After seeing the Darkstalkers OVA I instantly grew to love the monster theme of their designs. Morrigan is a definite must have but Donovan, Tsien Ko, Dimitri & Jedah are in my most wanted.
