    hmm

I thought about it. If Archangel's back can cover up that piece where the wings meet (so it doesn't look like a huge backpack), I can definitely rig up some way to attach my figure on and off of it so I don't completely kill the whole statue aspect. Only problem, the wings are 1:4 scale, where marvel toys are obviously 1:6. We'll see.
  2. I'll trade you my MOC one if you can find me a Regular Super Skrull (carded or uncarded)....
  3. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/Mas...asoit/apoc2.jpg Here's the thing. I don't want don't all of all the series 12 figures, but that apocalypse is really cool. So here is my crappy photoshop of what I think the two combined would kinda look like. I say I think because I have yet to find a x-23 or have a found a accurate scale shot of the two apocalypses together. I realize it might look a little rediculous, but so does the fat, squatty Apocalypse from series 7. Anyways, give me your input if this torso swapping should even be attempted, or if you have a good scale shot of the two Apocalypse's together that would be great.
  4. I only collect the Transformers that I really like, and I really like Scourge. Even if you are not really into beasts, you should pick this guy up. Only word of warning is his arm articulation sucks... at least compared to what it could have been.
  5. Excellent idea! Really gives Vector Prime the ancient/old-timey feel to him. After seeing your pics, you just inspired me to do the same when I get my Vector Prime. Thanks.
  6. Hey, Jin, this is for you or any other customizers out there. What is the best combination of colors to use for red hair (or more specifically, Marvel Girl's hair)? I wanna do a base color with some dry-brushing highlights, but there are a lot of different ways to do it. Red base with orange drybrushing? Orange base with some other color highlights? Please help! Exact paint names would probably be nice because there is a wide range of red/orange colors.
  7. Not bad. I've never been a fan of the Red Alert mold, but you did a good job with it. Did you use anything to make the paint not come off when transforming?
  8. I just made a mask for my Archangel out of epoxy and painted his eyes to make him look more possesed. The mask is removable (thanks to Jin Saotome for the Vasoline trick idea!). Oh, and I did a wing fix on him too. Enjoy.
  9. I'm talking about when he was still under Acopalypse's control as the horsemen, Death. You can't really see it too well in this pic, but here: http://www.uncannyxmen.net/images/spotligh...archangel26.jpg
  10. Hey, I want to make a yellow Death mask for Archangel, but I want it to be removable (like ML Iron Man or Doom). I was planning on using some Milliput to sculpt a mask that has the exact contours of the figure's face on the inside, but is there anything I can put down on the face like, I dunno, some kinda powder or wax paper, so the Milliput will not glue itself onto the face? What would work the best? Thanks, Jin.
  11. I want to do a beast custom from when he was in his blue and red costume. I've already decided I am going to use a ML thing body for a base, but I need a suggestion for a head that will be in proportion to thing's body. I have a WWE Ruthless Aggression: Kurt Angle figure that I was going to use, but his head is really tiny on thing's body, plus the expression looks stupid as hell. So does anyone have any other suggestions?
  12. Many years ago, I despretely wanted a X-Men Sentinel figure, so I attempted to (poorly) paint the body of the original TMNT Krang's Android body a bizarre combination of browns and purples. Back then, I thought I was pretty smart, but looking back now I kick myself for ruining such an awesome figure. The paint I used was simple acrylic paint used for woodcrafts, and I simply painted over the original paintjob. Through the years, the acrylic paint has chipped in places and you can plainly see the factory paintjob, so I was wondering, is there an easy way to remove the layer of paint I applied on and restore the original paintjob as much as possible?
  13. Excuse me for sounding ignorant, but can someone please give me some info on the Batman HUSH series such as how big are the figures, how much do they cost, are they sold separately, and how can i get one? I read somewhere that they are not sold at Toys R Us and the like. I'm a pretty casual DC fan, but that Batman looks postively amazing. Thanks a lot.
  14. What would be the best way to remove the little magnets in Silver Surfer's feet? I modified his surfboard into an ice sled for iceman, but now i want to implant the magnets in surfer's feet into iceman's. I have tried heating up his foot with a hairdryer hoping to weaken whatever glue they have in there, but I feel like I'm going to snap his foot off everytime I try to pry out the magnet. Is there an easier way?
