I actually donated toys in the school I work in. We have a toy drive(donation) project each year. Last year we had none bc of the pandemic, but this year I donated a bunch of MOC Marvel Legends. Nothing fantastic, but someone has to love Captain Britain and the many Bucky Cap molds this Christmas. I have seen kids open up donated action figures in schools, and they absolutely love the toys to be honest, no matter the characters. Merry Christmas everyone!

Paint and sculpted damage. Before I must evil bay him, here is some pics. Head can be interchanged with original heat. Hand can go back on if needed. Shoulder pads were never included when I originally purchased. Added a Matte finish.
-
Some joints are loose. Head is Hasbro Pizza spider. Full head movements, tiles, up, down, left, right. Trying to show some of my customs before I get rid of them
-
It's more a kitbash. Toy biz imo still has the best comic head sculpt. I added shoulder pads and imo... one of the best Wolverines out there.

Custom using 5 different figures. Head and neck use revoltech joint attached with hot glue. Neck was rebuilt using epoxy. X is also done with epoxy. Metallic paints and other shades of blue used. Selling on Ebay sadly. Don't want to but because of job loss, must. I enjoy customs... especially ones I poured my hearty into. Not great but my hard work. Probably based on another custom... knowing me. Made almost 10 years ago. Effect is a dr. Strange repaint effect.

Instamorph is essentially moldable plastic. Takes some practice time, but wish I did a better job with pics. It was just something I decided on a whim to tackle. The toughest part is trying to find a small screw and drilling directly on the middle of the disc. Action figures flight stands have the perfect small screws usually to be used. Tools I used: Action Figure Nail heated in for to stick onto joint create pilot hole Tiny screw Screw driver Super glue Instamorph Dremel

Move if in the wrong section. Sota Street Fight Sagat Broken Hip. Technicallynot a true custom. But I wanted to post it as a slight guide to others on how to fix a similar issue. I screweda small screw into the disc of the thigh hip joint. I first heated up a long nail. The nail is used to created a pilot hole which I can dremel, to insert a screw. Once I inserted screw using screw driver, I used a little super glue. Be careful not to stick the disc joint to the thigh itself. I then let it dry. Then I insert it back into the hip. I needed to insert putty to full the hip so the leg will stay in the socket. I used Instamorph instead of putty to fill the cavity. Originally used hot glue, but pulled leg out and decided on Instamorph.

It's the series 6 wolverine body.... and a couple other wolverine figures used for head and pads I think. Love it more than Hasbro legends except for the color yellow. The head is a much better sculpt than anything Hasbro does comic book wise imo.

I usually put these up at ToyNewsi, but again, I like JC....so trying to post customs, albeit not very good ones, on both sites over the next few months. It's the 1st Appearance spidey with a faded look. I added some blue paint to create a contrast with the black. I think painted the mask to make the eyes look bigger. I hate ALL of Hasbro's Spiderman heads, minus the Far From Home Spidey head. I admit it looks crappy as it was one of my earliest attempts at a custom. I do it much better now....but shows a starting point that I am proud of. I will post better pics as a few of my figs feel down so might as well take some down. EDIT: I tried to upload it to MArvelous News, but pics have been in Queued for a few minutes so, posing it here also.

Yeah, that look nice. The head almost has a cell shaded look.

ANother repaint of another Tobey Buck. Replaced the head with a Sinister 6 Spidey I think? Repainted a darker blue for a more gritty look. Articulated fingers and incredible poseability. Sorry for poor angles. It's a pain to take my things down and some of them are on thumbtacks and literally string. I think I used a fine sharpie for the weblines and to draw weblines on the shoulder. I painted the upper torso red, Bright red and did a black wash to achieve the matte faded look, I THINK!

Much better than Hasbro. Paint jobs can do so much. This is what upsets me about Hasbro....a simple wash or CORRECT paint job can do so much. Heck, some accessories. Oh man I got tons of past customs to share as I lost my job, broke and kind of bored....lol

I got to admit, it does look....hmmm interesting now that you mention it. Everything does look a bit out of proportion....lol Looks like a child whose head is too big for its body...lol Perhaps the head is a bit to high or rather there is no real visible neck.

I stole this idea of a Custom years ago. It's a Juggernaut Select with Apocalypse BAF pieces for the head and neck. Sculpted the Arm, belt and hand bands I THINK. Painted Black and metallic blue. Also some metallic silver. What I needed to do was add some tubes for his arms, but too cheap to finish it off. Head fully moves around, I think I dremeled to fit and then used hot glue gun to get it to fit and rotate/swivel. Probably did a couple more things to it, but cannot remember. Been a few years since "completed" it.

Very nice.....I was thinking of using your buck and do a Brilliant Dynamite Neon from Trigun

This it's one of 100s of spidey customs. Simple repaint of Tobey with a casted head. Think snapshot spidey. Cheap apple barrel paints but the blue it's from a paint marker. I tried to do bright paints and really enjoy sculpted weblines over painted. Painted lines just look awful on plastic figures imo and almost always bent in someway. Hence I use this Tobey Spidey Buck as they are the most jointed, Spidey like, well sculpted, proportioned figure of Spidey out there. Will post more as I like JC and like Toy Newsi. Pics are a bit underwhelming, but it's still an incredible buck for Spidey. Lines were done with Black paint on a dried fine point marker and then sealed with matte sealer. Later will do better pics of my custom spideys. Almost all are repaints with interchanged pieces and almost no sculpt work. Looking at the pics, their is some dust on the head....been displayed for years. Again, sorry for the poor pics. This wasn't really planned, it was just like, I enjoy JC and want to help TNI thrive so, will post lots the coming weeks/days.

very nice. What I like is the well lit room and you can even see things on the bottom shelves. If you have a small room like I do, I cannot see the bottome shelf figures. I try to do cheap shelf risers such as old text books and so on.

#NYTF19 - Diamond Select New Products Showcase
Vash replied to FASVB's topic in 2019 San Diego Comic Con
Want Bruce Lee....hoping for a bigger scale...but I know DIamond only does 7 inch. The faces of Bruce are off I must admit....but was very disappointed with figuarts and how short Bruce was. If Diamond cleans up that face....I will be fully invested in the line.
