Interests
Collecting toys, dvd's and such. What can I say. I love building/repairing PC's and love learning obscure knowledge. Also love older G.I. Joe comic books. Collecting older cartoons such as C.O.P.S. Mask etc. I think the Exosquad cartoon series is VERY underrated. Jive Turkey!!!

I haven't posted in eons here. But I remember those good old days. Simpler times it seemed.

I frequent Ross stores often (especially since it's near my gym) and yet I had never came across a Defense Of Cobra Island pack. I came across plenty of the Joe ones. Luckily, I had a friend stumble across one at another store and since he wasn't a Cobra fan, sent it my way. I would really like to get more Alley Vipers and Range Vipers. They are super cool.

The same packs that were shown here: http://generalsjoes.com/reviews/2009/exclusives/tru_cobra_troop_builders.html http://generalsjoes.com/reviews/2009/exclusives/tru_gijoe_troop_builders.html I ran into many of these packs on Saturday evening.

These dios are pretty cool. Reminds me of the simplicity of toys. No major villains. Just simple tales to tell. =D

I believe he's of 25th molds (uses the white coat from Rise Of Cobra Rex Variant). But not sure what other parts are used. He's a nice figure to seek, but a little too rich in price for me at this time.

I found the last Steel Crusher they had at my store. Didn't like how my side mirrors sort of bent a little in getting the thing out of the package (didn't just rip it open). I think I would have really dug it more if it didn't have that play gimmick. I want a great trooper carrier dammit. =D

First Dennis Hopper, now FRO JOE, Bah!!!

His hair was so full of volume. WHY OH WHY? =)

Someone put up a review of the van. Pretty nifty, the only disappointment is the loss of space in the back of the van. still though, a 4 seater isn't bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc3zQVsVgnw

Fantastic. A lot of thought and effort there. It plainly shows. So far, I think the BAT spot, boxing area and shooting range are my favorites.

Cool pics, were there many folks dressed up as characters? Or was this the gist of it? I got to thinking on your "had their way with me" comment, as they say in these internets, "Pics or it didn't happen!" =P One of these decades I'll attempt to make it out to a con. But for some reason, I just never made it a total priority. Which is sort of odd considering if there was a con I'd go to, it'd sure be something like this. =D

Well, I usually tell folks to stick with what they like. Regardless of what everyone else thinks. Hell, I remembered back in the later runs of the Joe figures, where folks were like "Why are you wasting your money on those things?" and I just shrugged them off. Because at the end of the day, it was something I enjoyed. I've liked most incarnations of Joe stuff (aside from the horrendous early Joe vs. Cobra t crotch figures, as well as certain spy troops molds). I was mixed on the ROC stuff, but overall I enjoyed some of the figures. As far as the canning of Hasbro, I just take it as a toy company's nature to change the line. As you look at the different subsets and such they've had over the years, it's pretty much the norm. Never played the ROC game, but from what I've seen in game play footage (and mostly ignore the reviews), I wouldn't mind giving it a shot as it looks like a brainless shooter (which I'm a big fan of with games like Total Karnage and Smash TV). I guess the bottom line is, just take the opinions of others with a grain of salt.

I love the Shock Trooper. Totally works for me and can see myself amassing at least a squad of these. Low Light and the Snake Eyes seem to work for me too. Most of the figures seemed fine. Don't care for the mechs though, as they just don't have that cool factor like the Defense Mech from VVV.

Ow, my eyes are hurting trying to read that codename. =)
