  1. Man I thought he spent all his time on infowars but he has time for legos too IMPRESSIVE.....
  2. Now thats a Corporate face if I ever saw one. Can you imagine how many cups of kool-aid this guy has had to down to get to where he is?
  3. I have never played the game yet I stlll want these.
  4. Yeah just like the new terminator movie did so well because of smart business, these production heads like Kathleen Kennedy have their heads so far up their own rears the whole studio could be burning to the ground and they will just double down on stupid. I can barely watch anything anymore because of all the forced SJW crap they try to force down our throats. Late night tv has been ruined by this movement, Saturday night live used to be a funny show, I won't even get into Jimmy Kemmel and Stephen Colbert. I'm not against Netflix however I feel they have a good selection and if I don't like one thing I will just click elsewhere.
  5. They look great, and I would have liked them maybe 3 or 4 years ago. But the 1/6 collector market to me is sort of like a housing bubble, it was bound to burst sooner or later. Hot Toys put many collectors on a path of self destruction. It was ok in the beginning but before long there was a two or three must have Hot Toys figures coming out every couple of months. With the coming of well made 1/12 figure options in recent years many collectors decided to opt out of the madness and start collecting for fun again instead of fear of aftermarket prices.
  6. This feels like a me too moment for Gremlins after Dark Crystal decided to do a prequel series on netflix. But the animated route seems cheap and won't mesh with the Gremlins movies.
  7. It would be nice if Mattel made some Thundercats using the new articulated MOTU origins body style.
  8. Yeah, tell me about it, those Funko 5.5 figures really burned me. Every single one I bought except for Zor had fragile cheap legs.
  9. I just opened this set and man I Love them.. I bought them from a seller on ebay who had 5 in hand ready to ship. 159.00 dollars later and boom its in my hands. I got the last one he had I believe not sure if he has more have no idea how he got his hands on them either, must work for Mattel? But back to the figures, they are nice. very sturdy. You know the feeling when you open a figure and it makes you want to freak out like Beavis used to until Butthead would tell him to settle down, that was me. These are the He man figures I always dreamed of but never thought anyone would make. The joints are smooth and decently tight. All of the articulation works great. Most every piece is cast in the color of plastic it was intended. except eyes, teeth, wrist guards, furry tuff on hemans boot The power sword is all one color of metallic plastic the axe and shield are molded in a darker grey. I prefer the Alcala heads over the vintage heads for sure. The knife in heman's boot is kinda weird but it actually goes down in the boot even if it warps the blade a bit. The power sword fits nicely in he-mans harness which is removable on the back with one little red square peg. The detail on adams vest is nice makes me want more cloth goods on these figures. The packaging is possible the best I have ever seen on any figure hands down. simply amazing. If I had to complain about anything it might be the knee articulation, seems a little odd but it does work and the joints are decently tight so I'm ok with it. The hands swap easily without fear of breaking the pegs. If the other figures in this line are near as awesome as these two are this line is gonna be amazing. I know what everyone will be thinking," is this guy bull sharting us." I don't blame anyone for doubting my review, but trust me I don't believe I got them either it still blowing my mind. Of course I paid a hefty price more than three times the con asking price for it. Would I advise anyone else to spend this kind of money on the set? Well if you could get them in the next week of so but if it would drag on till the middle of July then probably just wait on a 100 dollar set on Ebay to ship sometime in August. Heck I got another set on pre order myself that I purchased before I found this 159.00 dollar deal. No I have not tried to put him on the vintage battlecat or classics battlecat either but I know just by looking at his legs he could ride either. I give this set 10 stars out of 10.
  10. Most anticipated movie (show) of my life. I hope I'm not getting my hopes to high. Love the original, Clash of the Titans, Gremlins and Dark Crystal all time favorites.
  11. All the likenesses are pretty good except for my favorite Bill Murray. Something is off about the sculpt or eyes. I think maybe the chin is to prominent for Peter.
  12. It would be nice if they just started up Toysrus.com again if nothing else.
  13. Dang super 7 is hammering my wallet making it stressfull on a poor man collector. I have no choice on these been waiting decades for this.
  14. Of all the motu characters do we really need gold, crystal, and frozen versions of previous figures? I mean what is this, Image comics from the early 90s multiple cover money making scheme tactics?
  15. If you do decide to get these vintage style figures, I totally understand I am a sucker for retro styled toys too. I have some very important advice for those darn leg joints. Boil some water, pour it in a cup where the figure's legs can be submerged up to his/her waste. Allow the figure to soak until the legs turn rubbery this will allow you to freely move the legs around with much more ease. Now I have to warn you once the figure has returned to room temperature the flexibility will be greatly reduced but the legs will move slightly better than before. Yes it is sad we have to do such things but buying McFarlane toys back in 90s prepared me for tragedy at every turn. I always prefer boiling water to the hair dryer technique, the boiling water penetrates heat deeper into the plastic quicker.
