  1. Just got home and had a chance to check the international link. Definitely still has in stock. For once it's easy to get new NECA TMNT stuff. A joyous day for us Canadians + international folk. I really hope they keep doing this with the line going forward. Will buy a lot more NECA products if they offer it online to CAN like this. Big thank you to Randy
  2. Never understood the hate this got at all. The Kickstarter was basically a preorder. You pay in advance you get a figure. Only difference was he had the freedom to continue to add things to it for free. Not to mention he repeatedly mentioned the figure would be fully articulated but so many people complained about it without reading that part. Mind boggling. That being said I ordered the classic and modern day 1. Very happy to see him succeed, and man did he kill it with the constant addition of stuff. He's an eccentric guy so the fly by the seat of your pants approach to extras he kept adding was funny and a learning experience for him for sure. Looking forward to seeing which figure from the original line he does next (he already said that was the plan). Violator would be the no brainer but a Clown has awesome potential for accessory fun with Todd's imagination & the history of the character.
  3. Any word who is carrying the Walmart exclusive stuff in Canada? Exclusives in US stores generally don't go to the same places up here but it's hit and miss. Kenner GB figs did go to Walmart like in the US but it gets split between TRU, Gamestop, Walmart usually.
  4. GameStop in Canada has preorders open again for B&R. Previous preorders are shipping soon and demand was so high they are taking a 2nd round of orders for another shipment in June.
  5. Not a huge fan of the likeness on the WW figures but the rest of the fig look solid. I'm down to pickup up the Arkham Bat and Joker. Fingers crossed they keep going down the list with all the different lines they started (BTAS, Arkham, Movies, Comics, etc) so that we have the prospect of completing a collection based on any single property they do figures for. I'm not 100% sold on the BTAS Batman but would be more likely to jump in on it if there was a good prospect of a full line from the property. Same with Arkham and the movies and comics, etc.
  6. I'm actually preferring the crowdfunding method. He can keep prices down by cutting out middle men (assuming enough sell to be able to lower the cost), but you also have the potential of customizing what you buy. I know he mentioned an idea of a tier where he adds a signature to the comic book section of the packaging which helps people out who wouldn't be able to meet him at cons. Curious how creative he can get with the options and tiers as long as they are priced fairly. Going directly to consumers means he doesn't have to deal with marketing people who don't understand the appeal demanding things so he can get as unique with his offerings as people will support. If companies like Hasbro decided to start selling very niche characters this way people would love it. No idea why he's getting push back on it. He's even mentioned this is an experiment and if it doesn't work out the way he'd like than he can try a different method using his own website in the future. Ultimately he's trying to create new methods for people to be able to get figures and options that other companies don't have the means to offer. I'm all for it. Worst case people don't support it and nothing comes of it. Best case it works and he has a new avenue to release product more geared to collectors directly to collectors. Companies like Super7 make only as many as are preordered for figures, he's essentially doing the same thing.
  7. Really looking forward to this method of distribution. Has a lot of potential if they have a good price point and interesting extras at different tiers. Not that different from places like Super7 where they only make what is pre-ordered and love those original designs of those figs so an updated articulated version is very tempting.
  8. The Plasma series stuff looks good but the face sculpts at this point aren't as good as Select. Still going to buy the whole set for multiple displays though. And the cared RGB stuff looks awesome. Ordered the Eaglemoss Ecto-1 so curious to see how these and DSGB will compare size wise once it is completed.
  9. Agreed on that. The Batman TAS in the McFarlane line looks a little weird to me proportion wise and in the face but I'm giving benefit of the doubt with them having to rush out product for shelf space. I'd love if they made articulated TAS line that looked close to what these look like. Just those very thin legs and small feet are the only reason I don't collect them anymore. Don't want to have to rely on stands for everything in the shelf. And the show is definitely one of the best interpretations of the character and well written material period for comic characters so any love and merch they make for it I am always down to check out.
  10. Love how picture perfect the entire Batman TAS line has been but the articulation leaves a little to be desired and the small legs / feet causing balance issues were what turned me away from it. If it wasn't for at least the balance with these ones I'd be 100% down to pick up these and the rest of the line I don't already have. Leaning more towards selling off though and hoping McFarlane can strike a balance on them. Who knows. Can't argue with how damn good they look though
  11. I generally stick to 1/12 for collecting but this set might be the one I make an exception for. That's such an awesome box set!
  12. Curious to see how these scale with other wrestling lines for collectors. See how well the different companies figs measure up on the shelf.
  13. I've got every figure from the Diamond Select line except for one and completely love them. Gonna take a lot to top those figures but I'm down for just about anything Ghostbusters. Highly looking forward to these.
  14. Preordered on HLJ. Can't wait. Wish it was a bit bigger tbh but I'll take any size of these. Such a great looking creature it's a shame the sequels weren't given the love the original was.
  15. Looks great. Going to take a look in person before I buy though. Love the character, love the idea of an articulated Spawn, eyes feel off to me. Can't judge till it's actually produced and in hand though. Either way looking forward to a full line of articulated Spawn figs and treating this like a test for them.
  16. Those faces are looking awesome between this and the reveal last year. Can't wait to see the whole crew together.
  17. Be interesting to see with the new articulation they are using how many different designs of Spawn we get. Honestly surprised we haven't had a dedicated Spawn line announced but then again Toy Fair is right around the corner. May be more excited for this years than I have been in years with all the potential stuff we could hear about / see.
  18. They did mention on something about being in early production on TMNT 2 figures as well. Hoping we get some info nuggets on Toy Fair on those too. Movie line has been so good that it might be the only figure line I buy 2 to keep one set sealed. Absolutely amazing work they've done
  19. I've always got time for Ghostbusters merch. Looking forward to seeing how these look.
  20. Going to look awesome on the shelf with the rest of the Storm MK stuff. Can't wait for it.
  21. Need to re-issue the Rufus / George Carlin figure. He's an important part to the series, and an iconic legend who should definitely have figure representation. Doubt anyone will make a figure of him doing stand up comedy so this is the closest we get.
  22. Love the 90's vibe of the package and the line looks cool, but I'm running out of space in the collection room and I haven't decided on if I can fit this in or not. Already have the movie and cartoon lines taking up space for TMNT, plus a lot of other non Turtles stuff as well. Good and bad problem to have I suppose.
  23. Not huge on cloth figures but this looks like one of the few I may make an exception for.
