  1. Those faces are looking awesome between this and the reveal last year. Can't wait to see the whole crew together.
  2. Be interesting to see with the new articulation they are using how many different designs of Spawn we get. Honestly surprised we haven't had a dedicated Spawn line announced but then again Toy Fair is right around the corner. May be more excited for this years than I have been in years with all the potential stuff we could hear about / see.
  3. They did mention on something about being in early production on TMNT 2 figures as well. Hoping we get some info nuggets on Toy Fair on those too. Movie line has been so good that it might be the only figure line I buy 2 to keep one set sealed. Absolutely amazing work they've done
  4. I've always got time for Ghostbusters merch. Looking forward to seeing how these look.
  5. Going to look awesome on the shelf with the rest of the Storm MK stuff. Can't wait for it.
  6. Need to re-issue the Rufus / George Carlin figure. He's an important part to the series, and an iconic legend who should definitely have figure representation. Doubt anyone will make a figure of him doing stand up comedy so this is the closest we get.
  7. Love the 90's vibe of the package and the line looks cool, but I'm running out of space in the collection room and I haven't decided on if I can fit this in or not. Already have the movie and cartoon lines taking up space for TMNT, plus a lot of other non Turtles stuff as well. Good and bad problem to have I suppose.
  8. Not huge on cloth figures but this looks like one of the few I may make an exception for.
  9. The best option I have found outside of stores that are consistent in fulfilling preorders is Facebook. Joined a couple collecting groups where the people have been pretty good about helping each other out without looking for mark ups. Someone hits a store, takes a pic, and picks up anything people need and ships it out. People buy extra of a fig to offer it up to members at cost. People helping people without trying to screw them over purely out of love and respect to fellow collectors. It doesn't happen as often as it should but it makes a difference. Changing people's mindsets from everyone for themselves to helping each other out isn't exactly something I see happening on the regular anytime soon though.
  10. Not sure how your scalpers are operating but the ones in my area are legitimately buying every sought after figure. The guy who had Storm didn't have one, he had 30. The TMNT Turtles that weren't preordered were owned by 2 people asking double and they had boxes and boxes full. It's comparable to live events and I say that because living near Toronto people know that for the 18,000 seats in the building for Maple Leafs hockey games, 95% of the seats are on reseller websites the second they are bought for double the price, or with a scalper outside doing the same. It's more an issue of not being able to control who is buying what. Store doesn't care about who is buying the figures as long as they sell through. Resellers will control the market as long as they can continue the behavior. TRU has taken one small step to help up here in that their online store doesn't let you purchase the sought after figures anymore. On the rare occasion the site lists new figures available for purchase from a wave they have a tag on the popular one from the wave that says in store only so you can't use bots to buy up all the stock when it appears online. Even that is a double edged sword though because you stop people from using bots to buy stock to help collectors, but that doesn't mean there's someone working there or visiting at open every morning picking them up. Being friendly has been the only combat I've been able to use to help out. Visiting TRU when you look for something the staff, if you are friendly, has been able to help me find some of the figures because they've seen where people are hiding them for later. Other than that it's a crap shoot and the market itself is the one being hurt because people are able to exploit the market no matter where or how it is sold.
  11. Re-sellers / scalpers are right up there for top issues. Never see any of the hard to get figures from waves but always am able to find them being sold for double anywhere I look locally or online. It's killing live event markets and it's killing figure collecting. It's gotten so bad in my area that the workers at the stores are buying them using discounts before they hit the sales floor and then making FB groups to bring collectors together to sell the stuff at double price to. Love having stuff on the shelf but the thrill of the hunt in a physical store is almost dead at this point. Shopping online and preordering from reliable sites (love Amazon cancelling preorders like crazy) is the only way to stay on top of things.
  12. Preorder down for B&R 2 pack just waiting for Canadian EB / Gamestop to get them in. End of the month roughly. Love this set. Gamestop has been awesome for preordering figures for NECA.
  13. Can't wait for this. Also picked up the Night of the Creeps special edition blu ray that came paired with a Tom Atkins figure so I could work it into a display with these kids to get some Halloween 3 love on my shelves. Highly underrated flick.
  14. Fingers crossed they do ultimate, non cloth versions of this Laurie and Loomis. Look great but only in rare cases do I pick up cloth figs
  15. EB Games / Gamestop up in Canada has been awesome about pre-ordering these sets. Got my B&R 2 pack on order there and will be getting all these there as well. It's a sad state when a video game store is a better toy store than Walmart or Toys R Us. So far they've been knocking it out of the park for ordering collectibles though for my Canadian friends.
