Nice! Those turned out pretty good actually. I still have a pretty sizeable collection of the 90's Playmates Trek figures and these definitely have that feel. I know some people like super detailed stuff, and while I do too, sometimes I just like toys that are fun to play with. Hopefully the price will be good. If so I can see myself picking up any Classic and Next Gen figures.

That actually looks pretty good. Much better than I was expecting. As a big fan of the game series I'm happy to see that a lot of the action set pieces from different titles are being represented.

Ya, this really is a true action figure toy line. Fun is definitely the word to describe it. It's so nice seeing a fully realized toy line again, with figures vehicles and playsets.

I'm not expecting much, but imagine if it was a full line of figures with parts compatible with Masters Of WWE and MOTU Origins.

I was extremely surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I absolutely hated the original cut, and hadn't watched it since it's release. Like a lot of people I just didn't think any edits would make much of a difference. I will now admit how wrong I was. The movie still has issues, but the contrast in the changes is so much that it's easy to look past them. The differences are so fascinating that I've been watching scenes from both cuts and studying them for fun. In the end I'm glad we have this cut, even if they don't do anything else with the future storyline it hints at.

MAFEX Batman: The Animated Series Batman Revealed
Raptorbandito replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
This looks really really good. Have they already done a design based on the earlier TAS Batman? If not I hope that will be forthcoming as well. -

Hasbro Fan-First Friday GIJoe Live-Stream
Raptorbandito replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Aww man, kind of disappointed. I was hoping they would be repros of vintage o ring figures. I've really enjoyed some of the latest Transformers repros and would love to get some old school Joes.- 45 replies

Hasbro Power Rangers Metal Power Thunder Megazord Figure Revealed
Raptorbandito replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I love some of the Zord designs from the early Power Rangers. Definitely interested in this. I would take articulated versions of the Megazord Dinos too. I know Bandai sort of did that at the end of their license, before Hasbro took over, but the results were not that great. I think a collector focused line could really do them justice.- 6 replies

Star Trek: Lower Decks - Official Trailer
Raptorbandito replied to Outsiders's topic in Entertainment News
Ya, that looks pretty awful. I don't think the idea of a Trek satire can really carry an entire show anyway. Seems more like an idea suited to a single skit.- 9 replies

Are those the newer HG figure kits? I have the Mobile Suit In Action figures of these awesome desert mechs, which came out in the early to mid 2000's. The articulation on them is kind of basic but I still love them. Gundam Wing had some of my favorite designs of all the Gundam series.

Not a bad price at all either. I know nothing about the character. My knowledge of Power Rangers is pretty much limited to the original MMPR stuff. This looks pretty awesome though, I might pick it up just based on the looks.

That's a really well done playset / diorama. The price is awesome too. Wish the pics showed some figures in it for size reference. Honestly I wouldn't mind a molded backdrop type playset like this for things like Star Wars. I could imagine it being done for Mos Eisley or Nevarro Streets.

Hasbro Teases A Transforming Back To The Future DeLorean
Raptorbandito replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
The Dalorean Alt mode looks really nice, but I'm afraid I find the bot mode disappointing in execution. Maybe I'll change my mind once I see reviews, but at this point I'm just not digging it enough to pre order. It's too bad because I thought the idea sounded awesome.- 37 replies

I think TMNT would lend it self quite well to an animated film if done correctly. I loved what they did with Spiderman in the Spiderverse film. Something with a similar sense of style and energy would be really welcome for the Turtles.

Now that is a really clever and well designed exclusive. Hopefully it will be easy enough to get online. Looks like at least EE will have it for pre order, so that's great.

TMNT 7" Turtles In Time Wave 2 Figures Official Images From NECA
Raptorbandito replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
These look pretty awesome. I sort of prefer the Toon versions, but considering how hard it is to find those at Targets, I might just go for these and pre order.
