There's so much more that we haven't seen. 50s Marty, 80s Biff, Jennifer Parker, any of the 1885 versions, the car (a biggie), Biffs gang, Griffs gang, Principal Strickland — there's so much left to be done, and being that NECA knows the fanbase will buy it all, they'll be sure to make as much as possible.
And Dont forget 50s George McFly with one-punch-knockout-Biff-fist-of-fury pumping action!!!

Well- this was all that was left to make from the movie franchise lol
So you have not noticed your collection is missing the most obvious thing? THE CAR!?!?!

This version of Batman always reminded me of that deceased actor, Brian Dennehy.

Ok what am I my missing here?
This is like one of those puzzles from Highlights magazine ( if that's not dating myself) where you compare the two pics and circle the differences. But with this one, I just dont see them. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Man o man . Keaton Batman, Nicolson Joker, mirror Spock... 2022 is going to be really expensive for me... and it has not even arrived yet. I really gotta shake this collecting addiction or I'll be broke by this time next year. Does anyone know of a TCA (Toy Collectors Anonymous) meeting coming up soon?

Where? When? How much?

Nice work. The snowspeeder pilot Luke was ripe to have a second head without the snoopy cap on it. A second set of bare hands would have been a nice addition too. It's too bad that Hasbro as cheapened out and no longer puts those types of extras with the figures anymore. They started off so promising with that first wave with the sandtrooper and Solo with the extra stormtrooper belt. The Hoth Rebel trooper was a nice surprise as it seemed Hasbro delivered on that one but nothing quite as nice after that
Did you pull this head from Degobah Luke or Bespin Luke? I pulled mine from Degobah Luke to get this same look you did but discovered the neck is a bit long on this pilot Lukeand it looks a little weird on some angles.

Nice review. I think it is apparent that the car and the cave are in the same scale so why the heck did McF make the figures too big for the rest of the set? If they were an inch smaller he would have had bat gold and I would bought it all. I took a pass instead.

It amazes me that it has taken 24 years to see a Star Wars float in the Macy's parade. The commercialization of this event to a strong hold in the 80s as we began to commercial floats like Ronald McDonald, the Rugrats,Sonic Hedgehog and other corporate icons commercialized the parade route. And arguably none as popular as Star Wars. They got a little closer to the genre when we saw Spiderman for a couple of years after they retired Superman. I miss them both but we never got to see the Deathstar ( would have been an easy construction job for a balloon) or some X-Wings coming down 5th ave. So I am happy to see Grogu this year! FINALLY! He is not who I would have picked to represent the Franchise but I'll take it!! Not like I have choice. I am even more amazed that we never got the USS Enterprise cruising thru the streets. Again, much more popular than some of these "D- level" icon balloons in the last 20 years. I know this is a star wars platform but both franchises deserved parade prominence before Rugrats balloons saw the light of day. I am glad Star Wars finally made it and now I want Trek to follow suit. So much so that one of my bucket item retirement items is to start a fan driven fund raiser to pay for the construction of the Enterprise balloon and get it into the parade. I am pretty sure if corporations can pay for Sonic to be in the parade, fan raised funds can do the same. But now that Grogu is in, will we see him? Maybe for about 10 seconds tops. When you watch, count the seconds. Do not count the time that you can see it over the shoulder of the NBC hosts talking about how great the parade is. And it is up to you if you want to count the fleeting shots that they show of the balloons as they go to commercial and put the Macys logo over it. Since the turn of century calling this event a Thanksgiving Parade is a joke, a farce for anyone who is not actually at the parade. Let's call a spade, a spade. The proper name for the broadcast we see should be: "Macy's Thankgiving Day Broadway Play Showcase and oh yeah, there is a parade too". Times sure have changed.

I doubt there will be a Delorean in scale with the figures.
They already did some deloreans in 1:14 scale.
That's like a having a Nightrider line without KITT, a JAWS line without the shark, a Planet of The Apes line without Taylor. They are just not complete.
Until NECA gives us a scaled Delorean, Im............holding........my........breath!!!

Space mangos???? Ok, new-to-classic-star wars-guy, let me help you out. Those are Ponda's alternate hands.
Although it would be a Star Wars mystery how he could get his shirt and jacket on over them in the morning every day. As if his oversized head was not enough for him.

Hey NECA, I really like the love you are showing to the figured embodiments of monsters from decades past. They are beatiful!!!
Since you have been going throw-back for quite some time now, Can you please, please give the Classic Battlestar Galactica the same NECA treatment? I promise to be good, eat all my vegetables and will refrain from any negative posts and comments about you for one year!!! ( even though we still dont have the car for the BTTF figures) Please let me know if we have a deal.

This car is the best that a billionaire crime fighter could design? What a joke. Looks like something more fitting to the punisher. Even my son says thats not a batmobile. and hes 4.
Agreed. Your son is 100 % right.

Elvira called. She wants her ride back!

Hmmm, having second thoughts now due to that white ridge over the eyes and below the black band. Definately a toy designer add on.
-
Least favorate out of all the bat car designs. Looks like a tricked out GTO made by some motor heads on a cable channel series. Does it have the signature chrome skull head gearshift and chain link steering wheel? However this does explain why Batman trimmed his ears down- probably got too expensive replacing the headliner after every ride.

New TRU Megastore Coming To NJ Later This Month?!?
in Action Figure News
Posted
Jay C, your editorial is spot on and I could not agree more. As an adult collector, i would check the TRU shelves about once a month only to find the same old selections collecting dust.
The last best find I ever got out of my local TRU was an early wave of the 6 inch black series that contained the first Stormtrooper. I went in to specifically look for this wave a several times in a 2 week span. On the third visit still nothing new on the pegs and as I was walking out I saw a worker's push cart sitting in an unused check out lane between two registers at the end of the row where employees would just throw returns that were to go back on the shelves. I caught a glimpse of a black series box sitting in the bottom section of it and moved in to see what figure it was. It was the stormtrooper.
No doubt there was a TRU employee who collected or knew someone who collected. This also explained why it was rare to find anything I was looking for at this store.
But this time he got careless. I figured he put it aside for himself or someone else and even though it was not on the peg, it was still fair game as it was still in the store. Time to turn the tables. I picked it up off the cart and went straight to an open register, made the purchase and never looked back.
I always wished I could have seen his face when he search his cart or wonder if he ever went as far to check their security footage to see who got it.
Anyway that was a long time ago and I have adjusted to paying a little more for the things I collect by getting them thru internet store like the ones that support this platform instead of fruitless local searches when gas is at 3 bucks a gallon.
