Wow, just popped in to check on the state of the fantasy football league and saw this. I miss a lot of the people on here. Sad that the forums have fallen off. I know the death of the lines I collected and my loss of interest in wrestling (not to mention life) kind of killed my posting. Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm always down.

Those are awesome. I have a Green Lantern ring and Cobra logo among my other tats. I've been considering getting a Joker and Harley or a V for Vendetta next.

My buddy tried to get this at SDCC...3 times was denied entrance into the line finally got a ticket went back at the appointed time and all they had was one really beat up box. So he passed. I'll pass along the news and hopefully he can score one this way. How much was it btw?

That is weird! I need to check my league and make sure it didn't do the same thing.

Ewww I hope not!

I hope so I want to defend my championship!

He was keeping it real.

5 million for 1 year? and if Denver offered him a contract, why wouldn't he take it? doesn't make any sense to me Yup $5 mill 1 year. I think because Denver offered less and despite wanting a championship he probably realizes his days are numbered and 5 mill is a nice way to go out. wow, that is alot of money.. I know I heard teams were offering Ed Reed something like 2 or 3. I think the Raiders overpaid for him knowing that he is a fan favorite and will put some butts in the seats. Still, I can't think that Denver's offer was so bad that Woodson would choose the Raiders. I know he is PISSED that Green Bay didn't bring him back. He said he never thought he would leave, and now he will enter the Hall of Fame as a Raider They definitely overpaid but when you are a bad team you have to overpay to sign anybody. I think you are right about him being a fan favorite and will help sell tickets but since they are rebuilding a team with a bunch of young players a veteran like Woodson is essential. I think even though they overpaid for his talent he is still extremely valuable in that sense.

Hmm $16 is too steep for this one. I'll wait around and see if I can find it clearanced somewhere in the future haha.

Huh...really cool but they cancelled the show which I am sure will impact the game. Unless maybe the game will hopefully spark interest in reviving the show? IDK...I don't get it. But I am happy. My kids and I will enjoy it.

Talk about Star Trek Into Darkness here
nevermore replied to yojoebro82's topic in Entertainment News
I saw this and liked it. I am NOT a Star Trek fan. I've never seen an episode in its entirety and have only a passing knowledge of it from pop culture. We went and saw this because my wife and I had a rare date night opportunity with my mother-in-law around to watch the kids and we already saw Hangover 3 (which was atrocious btw). She wanted to see it anyway. I saw the other Abrams one because she wanted me to watch that before this one. All-in-all it was good although I have nothing Star Trek related to compare it to. -

5 million. Denver offered him a deal but when he went to Oakland a bunch of fans got together to greet him and swayed him. He started out in silver and black and he'll go out in silver and black.

I'll definitely be going opening night. We need a big showing for JL, GL2 and other DC movies!
