    It's... just... a... box. I did one of those incredulous short laugh things at that, what can I say? Although, honestly, if they expanded this out to include action figures and included Ralphs (Kroger's West Coast version), then I'd be glad for that. I'd love the chance to pick up a Marvel Legend or Black Series along with my groceries!

    I remember watching Tom Baker's episodes on PBS when I was young and they cut off right in the middle of one of the serial eps and didn't show the finale, ugh. Can't recall which one anymore, just remember how annoying it was to not know how it was going to end! Oh and I remember being upset when Leela left. Then, in similar fashion, I picked back up with the show in 2005, though I actually hadn't realized it was on until I started seeing fanvids for it popping up (and they say vids aren't good promotion ). That kicked off a total obsession with the show that resulted in me buying a ton of DVDs and merchandise. I didn't have a lot of luck finding many figures at that time, though, but I did eventually manage to track down Doctors Nine, Ten and Eleven and their respective companions and a few others (no Cybermen for me, either, darn it). I still have the TARDIS from the Ten, Jack and Martha set right next to my computer though the rest of the DW crew have moved to "stored away because where did all of these Marvel Legends, various DC lines and Black Series figures come from?" I've been really pleased with Jodie's portrayal so far; I think she's doing a great job of feeling "familiar" as a Doctor, yet also bringing a bit of something new and unique to her performance as well. Looking forward to seeing more!

    Oh, first I've seen of this set! Looks very cool, though (no Hoth pun intended ). Empire is still one of my top favorite movies of all time and I always love seeing more merchandise come out for it.

    I generally am a sucker for Harley figures but this one is a bit of a toss-up for me. I like a lot of things about it: the costume, the gun with the bang! flag and the pow! mallet. But the potential QC issues are lousy and I'm really not that crazy about her hair. It looks... like it was dipped in paint and is now wet and blobby or something? I don't know. Something about it just throws the look off a little for me. I may still end up with her *points to the part of me being a sucker for Harley* but it doesn't feel like a "rush out and get her immediately" sort of thing.

    I live in the eternal hope of an absolutely awesome live-action Transformers movie, lol! Bee has always been one of my favorites so I'm excited to see this. Hopefully they'll dampen down a few of the things that seemed to really lead the other films more and more astray. Guess we'll see! *fingers crossed*

    Heh, that struck me exactly the same way, just the idea they used her Pop portrait, lol! Totally does make sense but it was just a little unexpected at the same time.

    All I can say about the age thing is "When 900 years, you reach..." Eh, you know the rest. Kidding aside, I feel like a bad collector because this is the first I've even heard of Mondo. Of course, other than a select few Play Arts Kai, I stay waaaay out of this price range, so that's probably why. I love the look of these, though, and if I only had infinite shelf space and infinite money, I'd be signed up with a pre-order right now.

    Thanks for this! I've been wondering when this was going to drop! (And I'm one of those who really misses the ol' Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo packs. Wish they hadn't gotten rid of them, that met all of my entertainment needs. )

    Definitely agree, this is a fun piece! I've got my fingers crossed for the rest of the Rebels to make their way into the Black Series. It bugs me to only have part of the team, lol!
