@yojoebro82 @mako If you guys are wanting to watch this debut of Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, and the return of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, I only just realized yesterday that it won’t actually be airing until March 17th. So, none of us actually missed it. Even though I was sure I had, lol.

I dig this shot overall... But, I think I really like the contrast in the background the most, cascading between the photo (or artwork?) of the performance hall, along with what I percieve to be a crowd of figures looking on, surrounding the ring, which brings an added layer of depth to the overall match. Nicely done, once again!

Man, Phasma just comes alive in this shot... Which, may be slightly ironic, considering what happens in that particular scene, lol.

star wars Forgive me Grandfather . . .

They say a picture speaks a thousand words... And, even with the bearest knowledge of who Kylo Ren is, you can still feel the weight of the universe on his shoulders in this shot.- 1 reply

I dunno if those tanks came as-is, or if they were something that had to be modified to fit the purpose of this photo, but I dig how they fit in and bring the whole shot together.

Threepio and Artoo, both have always been my favorite characters since I was a kid. And I always loved how they were kind of our tour guides from the beginning. Great shot capturing those opening scenes!

The entire forum is open to users starting their own threads, with the exception of this main hub section, which falls under the ‘Toy News International News’ banner... Everywhere else on the forums, including the Custom Figures, Buy-Sell-Trade, Star Wars, G.I. Joe, DC Comics, General Toy Talk, Marvel, Transformers, Creative Community, General Discussion, Entertainment News, Comic Book Talk and Feedback sections, allow users to begin their own threads. And, to be honest, while I’ve only been here for about eight months, and cannot speak to the overall liveliness of the forums since their inception — which goes back to 2002 — I have continued to see daily activity since I got started here, which is hardly small potatoes.

Now that I know Lex and Superman feature in this one, I’m definitely going to be tuning in again!

Looks very much like Sarah Michelle Gellar, aka Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in the head sculpt... And pretty darn good, all things considered.

As I mentioned under this post in the Photography section, the glowing red and snow effects are what really make this one, for me. Mad dig it!

^ Had the above post not noted how old the OP was, I probably would’ve missed it. But even in spite of that, I gotta say, that Superman turned out pretty fantastic looking. Although, there does seem to be a little bit of orange slightly splattered over the face. Wonder if that was intentional?

#NYTF19 - McFarlane New Products Showcase
sXeblues replied to FASVB's topic in 2019 San Diego Comic Con
I’d go along with all of that... Here’s hoping! -
Y'know, I think this is a fun little set... But, I’m pretty content just having one Deadpool figure — which is all I’ve ever managed to find for myself, out in the wild — as opposed to trying to track them all down. It may sound funny, but I’d only deign to pick up another one if he had that little nub on the top of his mask, as the one I’ve got doesn’t, it’s just round and taut like Spidey’s mask. I know there are one or two like that, that have the nub, but I doubt you can ever really tell, trying to look at it in the package.

I was fortunate enough to land myself the four Turtles loose, from the original Comic Con release, so wound up missing out on Shredder... He looks pretty badass. And would definitely make me consider picking him up, even if it means I end up with another Leo, lol.

Neca King Kong vs Godzilla 1962 Godzilla Review
sXeblues replied to DareDevil19's topic in Toy Reviews
Not a bad looking figure, really... Although, for me, I kind of would prefer slightly less articulation, I think. Because, all of those lines in the neck and such, break it up to a point that I’m not very happy looking at it. But then, with that said, the range that the neck articulation gives it isn’t too shabby. From certain angles, it might go entirely unnoticed. -
DC Injustice 2 1/18 Black Canary & Reverse Flash FIgure From Hiya Toys
sXeblues replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
As highly detailed as these are, for their respective scales, I still cannot justify $20 apiece for them... Six inch figures, yes. But, unless it’s accented in 24 carat gold, it just isn’t warranted, methinks. -
That’s pretty cool. ?

Not too bad looking, for what might be considered ‘basic’ figures.

Naruto Shippuden Naruto Action Figure From McFarlane Toys
sXeblues replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I dunno, man... Both this, and the One Punch Man Saitama, leave a lot to be desired, for me. They seem very much like part of the old guard, as far as articulation is concerned. The Fortnite figures of the day would seem to be a vast improvement. But, I’ll still be curious to see how this and the Saitama actually shape up, when they’re eventually released.
