Then to top it off Hasbro and Target listed an exclusive black series figure Captain Cardinal @ the same time. He’s gone too. But no chance of trying to get the Joes and Star Wars items during these 1 minute windows. It’s like Hasbro’s saying choose between the 2 properties and you’ll be lucky if you even get one. Great job Hasbro... amazing figures but horrible strategy to get them into collectors hands. Scalpers hands yes but not the collector. Any U.S. collector should avoid these like the plague on eBay.- 236 replies

Had all 4 in the cart @ 9 was checking out maybe 10 or 15 seconds later with Apple Pay and all but Roadblock was gone. So I somehow managed to secure Roadblock. How can a pre-order sell that quickly!!! Let’s be honest... except for some die hard fans GI Joe doesn’t even come close to Star Wars black series or Marvel Legends in popularity. But the Joe’s sell out in maybe 20-30 seconds... crazy!!! Hell the 4 black series exclusives lasted through out the day on Walmart last week. Maybe they’ll pop up again but it doesn’t look like it.

This all day everyday!!! That Snake Eyes even originally came with a goggled head. Also they had a later Storm Shadow from 2013 v49 that more closely matched the Storm Shadow artwork. Just lazy very lazy.

On the retail Snake Eyes it looks like a visor and in the package art it definitely is a visor. I just think it might be black and not painted silver which I think would be a nice little change.

Not sure about Scarlett and Roadblock though She's not bad... she could be more classic but I'm not really excited at all for that Roadblock V2 and the crazy gun and all the shiny gold is just silly and the head sculpt just seems off GI Joe is fantasy and all but who the hell rocks shiny gold boots, knee pad, etc. It should definitely start classic. Even though I like the Snake Eyes he has at least 3 arashikage logos on him that are visible just from the front... I'm guessing one or 2 from the back. We don't really need even one... but I guess if push comes to shove one is cool on the scabbard or even sheath but that's it. Don't need a belt buckle and another insignia on his neck. We get it he's part of a secret ninja clan... now not secret at all Mattel did it for years pretty successfully with MOTUC no real major design changes just sculpt updates. Hell they are hedging their bets on the new retail MOTU line that's slightly updated from vintage sculpts and designs. Hopefully if the Joe line is an ongoing thing we actually get classic designs. I really think Snake Eyes should’ve had a more muted grey visor and wearing less gear. Like in the image attached below from the original leaked pictures. The Snake Eyes on the right looks more classic... just a nice newly sculpted classic update. Just add the arm bands and belt (minus the arashikage logo) and damn near perfect.

Consider this purchased! I Wish it did better in the theater but maybe digital downloads and dvd/blu-ray/4K will sell well. Either way I still think Solo is a great movie. If you haven’t seen it go now!
