  1. I know there's not much "action" going on here but I just got the DC Icons Rebirth pack and I just wanted to share.
  2. So the only figure I've found from the wave is Polaris and she's a really nice and clean figure. I went to go pull out my Scarlet Witch figure to see if the headsculpts were the same and I stared at both of their heads for like a whole 5 minutes and I'm honestly not sure. The shapes of the faces are very similar but I think its the paint and the flesh color that make them seem different. So good job Hasbro, I guess?
  3. I'm really impressed with what Mattel has done for the new female body molds on Batwoman and Jessica Cruz Green Lantern. I'll definitely pick those up. Also I have to find a way to get that Clayface when it comes out. It looks amazing and since I was never able to pick up the DCSH version its a nice hole to fill in my batman rogues.
  4. Although I don't collect any CW show figures it's really nice to see that DCC seems really committed to releasing a lot of characters from the shows. They all seem to look pretty good too. I was pretty shocked by NECA's Batman vs Predator and Superman vs Alien figures. Man those are nice!
  5. It's Toy Fair weekend right now and we've seen some DC Collectibles Bombshells figures and DC Collectibles Icons that were previewed. I'm interested in what you guys or gals are looking forward to from Toy Fair (any DC lines like Multiverse, Icons, Statues,.. etc). Personally since I mainly collect Icons and DCUC/Multiverse figures I'd love to get some more 2 packs from the Icons line and just more comic figures from the Multiverse line.
  6. This wave looks great to me! I'm really excited for Old Man Logan, Shatterstar and Dazzler. I think that Sunfire could be a sleeper hit though. Is it just me or does it look like Polaris' head sculpt is the same as the recent Scarlet Witch figures'?
  7. Amazon currently has some awesome prices on a bunch of the Doomsday, Justice Buster and Suicide Squad figures. Check them out!
  8. I'm a pretty new member to the forums, but I've been coming to look at them for years. I know I may not interact with everyone on the forums, but just in general I've always seen this place as a sort of getaway for truly inspired and creative minds. We complain about some of these action figures because we want the companies to do the subject matter justice and we also praise some of the best work these companies have done because it incites a certain spark in us that we can do the best job that we can possibly do. I remember a time where I would almost looked up to a lot of the people on these forums because I personally felt like my input really wasn't necessary. After joining the forums I can truly say that I feel important here and that the whole community is full of people that genuinely cares about each other. So to Devilbat and any other person going through tough times, know that we appreciate what you've contributed thus far and we hope you continue to keep pushing on. You never know who you might inspire. Happy Holidays.
  9. Personally, I'm not going to try to touch the CW show figures even though they are improving. I just feel like its a slippery slope. I wonder where mattel has the batwing figure planned? He was probably one of the more unique showings from SDCC. I do still really want the King Shark CnC though. He looks great!
  10. I'm honestly just happy that we're getting a bunch of space related characters. It's a nice change of pace. Since we're only getting part of the movie roster in this wave, I wonder how many Guardians of the Galaxy waves are we looking at for 2017.... for sure 2, maybe 3???
  11. Yeah that's basically all of it. I'm glad you gave it a shot and liked it!
  12. Yeah, First Class renewed my excitement for the X-Men movie franchise and DOFP and Apocalypse were spectacular, but were at least 10x better than X3. On the topic of X-Men figures that I would like to see made, I really want to see a Quentin Quire figure.
  13. I forgot to mention the only Rebirth title that I've read a little bit of was Blue Beetle. It's fun. It has a spiderman-like quality to it and it's really cool to see Ted Kord back.
  14. The new Doom Patrol does seem interesting and it does have a really cool art style. I haven't heard of the other titles, but I'll check them out! It basically picks up after the New 52. I would say that you should read DC Universe Rebirth #1 if you don't mind rushing through some of the New 52 events. It kind of sums up a lot of the major things that happened in the New 52 and shows what direction Rebirth is taking. After that I'm pretty sure that any of the Rebirth titles are fair game and won't leave you completely confused.
  15. I try to only mess with my toys indoors especially if they have a bunch of add-on accessories that are susceptible to falling off. I hate losing tiny pieces that fly off to the realm of "you'renevergoingtofindthisagain".
