  1. I just kind of keep thinking of the last time they tried a standalone Batman villain movie, not tied to the actual universe in which it sits...
  2. It's too bad these set will be so difficult to get. They really were the best DC product I've seen in a while.
  3. Good to know. I've never purchased from them before, so I don't have any experience with their timetables.
  4. Triceratons!!! I would buy a bunch of those guys and set them up battling Predators and Engineers. I am a giant dork.
  5. I'm tempted to get Krang and try to do a realistic paintjob on him, to display with my movie turtles.
  6. I wish McFarlane could crack the "build your own figure" code, with customizable options for hair style, color, race, gender, etc for the Dragonborn figure. You'd have to order it directly from them, but it would be very cool, since everyone's Dragonborn looked different.
  7. Did anyone play Crash Team Racing back in the day? Whenever you heard the Aku Aku sound, you knew you were in trouble. I never played the regular Crash games, but man, I played the hell out of Crash Team Racing. I'm hoping for a deluxe Crash with car, but I'm sure that's doubtful.
  8. I still haven't seen the movie, but that is a gorgeous looking figure. I can see it being pretty useful for a bunch of different random scenes in my collection. I'll probably make the decision if/when I see him in stores.
  9. To be fair, he looks pretty accurate to the game. Though I think the more neutral headsculpt felt closer.
  10. That's a must. We also need Foot soldiers (hopefully at the same time).
  11. I already have a Jabba's palace that I built into a coffee table, but the skiff and the guard 3-pack were highlights for me!
  12. The Good I'm absolutely chomping at the bit to get that updated Star Wars Vintage Collection skiff (x2). The Alien Parker figure is something I've wanted forever, and NECA doesn't disappoint with this one. Alpha Predator is a nice return to NECA creating some semi-original designs, which I feel like they really excel at. Bruce Lee from Diamond Select looks excellent. Also John Wick. Diamond Select Psylocke and Rogue may have just convinced me to start a small X-men centered collection, provided they fit with my existing NECA/DCC collection. The Bad I'm pretty bummed that we still don't seem to have any info on the release date for Storm Collectibles' Darkseid figure or any details at all, really (unless I missed something). Is Mattel joking with that Michael Keaton Batman? Did someone sneak a bad custom figure in when no one was looking? I still don't think DC Essentials Wonder Woman looks very good. And where is Green Lantern? Canceled?
  13. That Alpha Predator is as good as bought. I'm also pretty ecstatic about Parker. The rumor from a Twitter post from Randy is that Brett could be coming as well. I hope the TMNT business does well for them, because I would love some realistic versions of Bebop and Rocksteady (and Krang) to go with the movie turtles and Shredder.
  14. I feel like we've been looking at that Darkseid forever. He looks great, but any information on a release date? He can look awesome all he wants in their case, but it doesn't matter if he's never up for sale.
  15. That Cheetah looks excellent, but Wonder Woman...does not. It's a shame that they just can't get her right in this line (and I'm still sore about the DCFilms Wonder Woman never being released, even as a one-off when her solo movie was on fire). Cyborg Superman looks awesome as well. Has Green Lantern dropped off the map? We haven't seen him in a while. Seems like he got bumped for Joker and Harley.
  16. So I think between Rogue and Psylocke, I need to put together a small X-Men centered collection of Marvel Select figures. Hoping they size up well with NECA and DCC figures, which are the vast majority of my collection. Also, that John Wick figure looks slick as hell. And don't get me started on Bruce Lee...instant buy!
  17. I can only speak for myself, but the concern with the new McFarlane deal is more around what happens to DC Collectibles, and will there be a source for 7" scale DC merchandise. I don't collect the 6" Mattel scale stuff, so I can sort of laugh at that...I think it's supposed to be a Keaton Batman(?) "figure" and still enjoy my NECA Keaton Batman. If McFarlane goes whole hog on Multiverse in the 6" scale while blocking everyone else from doing 7", then it doesn't matter how good his sculpting is.
  18. The problem is that DCC is the only game in town when it comes to the 7" scale, so if you want your DC figures to square off against your NECA figures, you only have DCC as an option. In moving to the 9" scale, the 7" collecting community is SOL. For instance, there are like a dozen movie-style Wonder Woman figures that can be purchased from various companies in the 1:12 scale. There are zero movie Wonder Woman figures available to 7" scale collectors, despite there being a demand. I don't think people are really mixing and matching into their multiverse collections, but DCC has a following of 7" collectors. The problem is they cancel lines so frequently that people tend to have a "wait and see" attitude when it comes to their latest offerings.
  19. A good idea would be to go back in time a couple years, shrink this down to 7", and put this much effort into DC Essentials.
  20. Well, I'm glad to see they're still committed to this line. I'd love to see them continue this trend of releasing some posed images for figures that are coming up.
  21. I really need to get this, just for her head. It'll be perfect for a custom I'm working on.
