  1. So for those who may not know, Takara Tomy released Lupin and Fujiko Microman figures in 2007. They're super cool, but what collection would be complete without Jigen and Goemon? (Well, Zenigata too, but he's not done yet.) Luckily, I also found some Banpresto 5 POA action figures to get heads and accessories from for my customs. Here are the breakdowns: Jigen: • Banpresto figure head (modified to fit a ball-joint) • Repainted Microman Lupin torso, arms, and Jacket • Unmodified Microman Lupin waist, legs, and feet • Gun accessory is from the Kubrick Jigen figure. It's much nicer than the Banpresto accessory. Goemon: • Banpresto figure head (modified to fit a ball-joint) • Banpresto figure torso with a sculpted neck and added ball-joint, repainted • Arms from a Star Wars Clone Wars Nahdar Vebb figure, repainted • Lower arms and hands are Microman parts, repainted. • Legs and waist are from a Dragonball Evolution Goku figure, repainted • Custom sculpted sash around his waist • Banpresto figure feet • Banpresto figure Zantetsuken and sheath The Fiat 500 is a Bburago. I think it's 1:24 scale? Slightly too small to actually fit the figures inside, but it still goes nicely. Thanks to worldruined for taking pictures! Check out her own stuff on Tumblr. And if you liked these customs, take a look at my old Solid Snake post: http://forums.toynewsi.com/topic/2098546-metal-gear-solid-2-solid-snake/
  2. This is great! Very nice version of classic Harley.
  3. I'm not sure, but they are very articulated, so probably!
  4. Thanks! I've actually got a start on Meryl, Otacon, and all of MGS1 Foxhound... except for Decoy Octopus. The Rise of Cobra Doctor with a gas mask makes a good Psycho Mantis. I like those ideas for a cyborg ninja, although right now I'm pretty happy with my Revoltech Mini Gray Fox. Maybe I'll think about an Olga version sometime. Thanks for looking!
  5. Take a look at my Solid Snake custom! He's made to match G.I. Joe scale, and has a removable vest/harness thing! Parts • Head: General Hawk v6 head with custom sculpted bandana and hair. • Bandana straps: Cut strips from the cape of G.I. Joe Trooper v2A. • Torso and hips: Snake Eyes v57 with custom sculpted vest. • Arms: Snake Eyes v56 • Hands: Snake Eyes v57 • Legs: Snake Eyes v57 with custom sculpted kneepads and leg straps • Harness: Base is from Cobra Vehicle Driver. Shoulder straps and pouches are from Alley Viper v13. Leg straps and the upper chest belt are from Snake Eyes v52. Process The torso is really tall, so I shaved down the top of the lower torso and resculpted with Apoxie Sculpt. Other custom sculpting was also done with Apoxie. The arm joint areas needed some sanding to prevent paint rub. Used Krazy glue to stick the bandana straps in, as well as to combine all the various harness parts. The Base coat of paint was Tamiya light gray spray, and the rest was various brush craft acrylic. Thanks to worldruined (on Tumblr) for taking photos! Hopefully she'll shoot some more of my projects.
