(As stated in the Fwoosh forums) Canadian Tire in Millwoods Town Centre (Edmonton) has the KMart Exclusive Ironman 3 packs in for 29.99. One set has Vibranium armor Iron man(Captain America colors w/ shield) and the other has a Hulkbuster Ironman based off the movie Iron Monger figure. Also, there is a new Toys R Us Express store in Town Centre as well. They have the Ironman Comic wave with Iron Monger, Silver Centurion and Advanced Armor Ironman in - I would say they had about 2 figures of each after I left.

Hey guys be sure to hit up your walmarts on the way to seeing Ironman 2, because I just found the Mark V(suitcase) 6" figures at the South Edmonton Commons wal-mart. Seems like he is the only figure in the case as there were about 3 pegs full of him that I saw. No one else in the wave from what it appears. The figure overall is just as nice as the previous 2 figures, in fact I like the paint on this one more than the paint on the Mark VI as they use a nice metallic red on him which really catches the eye once he's out of package. The only weird thing about him is that his ankles are not ball-jointed and only swivel inward/outward. Bought 2 for myself - 1 to open and 1 to keep MOC. Great toy.

South Commons Wal-mart in Edmonton had the newer 3.75" movie IronMan 2 toys in. I left 2 Movie War Machines (already had one) there as well as 2 of the Mark V armors and also at least 2 of the Inferno Ironman armors. Anyone in Alberta snag any of the MU 2010 wave 2 series(Bucky, Classic Cap, Luke Cage, Black Widow, Thor) yet?
  4. <--- anyone know ?.. I'd like to know the answer to this one as well Mine is clipped on real tight, but I was able to place it to either side of his back.

12.92. They are great figures. The quality on these is really top-notch. Makes me wish Hasbro went back to 6 inch Marvel figs...

Yep, that's the one. 14.99 I believe from the local TRU here in the southside of Edmonton. Here's an auction for one. My link

Did they have the Toy Story Collection 12" Buzz Lightyear? It is packaged in his space ship. uhmmm.... I can't say I recall... They had just a ton TON of stuff though, they had I know for sure a two pack that had buz & woodie & buz had the firecracker on his back Thanks for the heads up anyways man. I'll have to go check out my local Zellers and the Disney store as well. I'm a sucker for things that light up and glow in the dark I got the sdcc version of buz in the space ship though I can't say I recall seeing any others in the same size ... I'm going to have to take a look at them again my self Still can't get over there price for the bucket of soliders though... I just got the Toy Story Collection version of Buzz today. They had him at Zellers for 59.99. Needless to say I'm very impressed with it. The interactive mode is really cool, but the best feature of it I think is the flying mode. Whenever you tilt him when the wings are extended he makes all sorts of flying and swooping noises. If only I had this when I was kid... Even now at 33, I feel like running around the house with this guy pretending he is really flying... I will probably buy 2 more - 1 for my god son and 1 for my nephew - as the interactive mode is pretty neat. The only gripe I have is that I wish his arms were longer or his torso was a tad slimmer so that I can really pose him like in the movie. But still, the articulation is just as good as any other fig out there. As for the smaller figures, I managed to snag the Adult Collectible TRU exclusive Buzz yesterday. I am pretty sure it is identical to the SDCC one, but without the cool space ship package. I read somewhere that there will be a small Zurg figure as well. All I saw yesterday was Buzz, Rocky Gibraltar, Woody and Hamm. Can't wait for the 3-D Blu-Ray release of these movies

  10. I would prefer flocked as it just seems like a complete, newly tooled figure. Besides, I'm unsure how that awesome flocked head will look on a plain green Beastman body. The flocking I think looks awesome especially with the vine-like pouch and mace. This would be a deal-breaker for me.

They've been at TRU here in Edmonton for about at least a week now. The price I think is around 139.99. I know TRU has a sale right now, and I'm pretty sure that is the sale price. The actual price probably is higher...
  12. Thanks a bunch for these pics! These will tide me over until Monday when I get mine. I love how you can pose his head down so only his eyes show behind that mask on his armor. What stand is that from btw?

Found the following at the Southside TRU here in Edmonton, AB: - New deluxe Wolverine Origins packs: Weapon X in Tank, Deadpool w/ Missile launcher and Sabretooth /w Blob(I purchased the only Sabretooth pack there). I didn't see any of the Unmased Wolvie pack w/ colossus nor was it featured on any of the card backs. The Deadpool looked better than the single figure release and the sword holsters were nice and proportioned to the figure. These rang up at 16.99. - Saw the Human Alliance Bumblebee as well, would have got one, but the price is too steep for my taste right now, 49.99 CDN All in all, a good day.

Lol, no offense taken I guess recognizable was a poor choice of words. I meant that it isn't his main costume and therefore, to me this isn't the best incarnation of the character. Unfortunately, due to my present economic circumstances, I have to be extra picky nowadays when it comes to collecting. On to another siting, I forgot to mention yesterday that the same TRU had a few of the Terminator Salvation 3 3/4" vehicles available. One was some sort of Warthog? plane and the other was the flying Terminator ship. Seems to me like a GI Joe fig will fit in these, so heads up people.

Just got back from TRU southside in Edmonton. I think they had waves 2 and 3 of the MU there. I was there around 2:30pm and they still had lots of Classic IM, a few Captain Americas, Hulks and couple of Things. They also had 1 version each of the chick from this wave - the classic and the modern versions each as well. I would have snagged the black suited Spidey, but I think I only want to get incarnations of characters in the most recognizable costumes. No new DCUC yet...
  16. Congrats guys on getting your Zodacs. I'm still waiting on my shipping confirmation... However, any loose pics you guys could provide would tide me over until I have one of these things in my hands

    New Jabba...

I was just at my local comic book shop and got a good look at this Jabba. If not for the high price I would have gotten it for sure because it is decently articulated. It's got a swivel joint for what I would call Jabba's upper torso/neck and the shoulders and elbows both have ball joints. I don't recall seeing if he has any wrist articulation as well. If I ever see this thing in TRU I will be tempted to buy one, but knowing Hasbro they probably got a Legacy Collection version in the works and will not release it til XMas... Edit: Ohh, here are some pics http://www.rebelscum.com/tcwBPJabbasPalace.asp

Yeah, I too was hoping to get my hands on this game. Seems like Canada gets a delayed release as on both bestbuy.ca, futureshop.ca and ebgames.ca state the release date is listed as 02/19. I went to TRU today and the guy there said they might get their shipment tomorrow, so I'lll be sure to give them a call. A friend of mine was assuming Canada gets these delays due to the packaging (need to get out english/french packaging)... Oh well, I guess I can wait till Thursday if needed

Dropped by the Southside TRU on Calgary Trail today in Edmonton and found the first wave of Marvel Universe figs there. Now that I think of it I think its the revision case as they had everyone there except variant Torch and Bullseye. On another note, local comic book shops got in the official first wave and I was able to snag a variant Torch albeit for $15 bucks though... Looks like the Wolvie movie figs should be showing up soon...
  20. The only characters I want is Thanos and MODOK
  21. I'll only get 1 of Stratos, but for guys like Hordak and Tri-Klops only 2 will do. I'd rather get him now than regret not getting him later.
  22. Sure thing Pizza Man Z! I'm still at work right now though, but I'll post some up for ya tonight. I would point you to marvellegends.net because they got some great pics of most of the first figures, but it seems their server is down right now. Edit: Here are the pics I promised:)
  23. Purchased 2 Skeletors this morning. Just waiting on my tracking numbers now...
  24. Found these figs on Tuesday in Edmonton at the South Commons Wal-mart! Somebody beat me to the punch though, because all I was able to get was Spidey, Wolverine, Daredevil and big head Punisher:( Looks like the hunt for Ironman and Silver Surfer is still on! So far, Spidey and Daredevil are my favorites mostly due to their durability. Wolverine would've been up there too, but his upper torso joint is so loose, his torso rotates when I even pick him up. Here's some photos I took last night of Spidey.
  25. Hahaha, that's hilarious that you chewed up their hands! While I didn't do that to my He-man, I did bite the thumbs off my Joes back in the day... As far as Battle Armor He-man goes, I would definitely buy 2 of those especially after seeing the BA staction that was released.
